I thought the same thing, and then I realized I've had this thought process before during the lineup release debacle, and now during the last week or so for the schedule release.
I'm genuinely curious what could be holding up the schedule this long. I know we will never get an answer or an explanation, but it would be interesting to know.
The fact that I'm leaving for this festival two weeks from today and don't have a schedule sucks. I just wish Red Frog would at least acknowledge it and give some sort of update

But you do have a schedule! A hub schedule!
But do you have a camping pass that will let you visit said hub yet?
Who is going to both!? I will be. Any Wednesday premier campers that are doing both fests?
This just my opinion, but I'm over hearing about 21P and RTJ. The FF fan Page folks are all about 21P and I just don't get it. Same with RTJ. Over hyped, but I guess I'm glad they give other people 'musical' pleasure.
Lastly....Speaking about replacements for Charlie xcx, I know it's not on the same level but Jack Johnson would be a disappointing one. I used to be a HUGE fan but has become boring over the years and that FF set last year was the most boring time I've ever had at a festival.
I will be attending both festivals again this year! I also upgraded to grab premier camping this year. Its the year of upgrades for me as I am going VIP to Roo. RTJ's hype seems to be a Roo thing. I for one am aboard they hype train as I watched their Coachella set. I have the FF App and RTJ is the 44th most popular act for FF. Just to show you who we are dealing with as a fan base. Paul Fucking McCartney is the 14th most liked act of FF. My jaw hit the floor on that one. Bastille, ZEDD, and AWOLNATIOn rank higher than McCartney.

Only reason I think Paul is so low is that when the lineup was released originally on the app, Paul was not on there, so people gave their artists their likes and never went back to also like Paul once he was officially added to the app.
not good at all, but hey the last 10 pages of this thread are just ripping on red frog so i don't see it getting much worse.
It'd turn into a 300 page thread ripping on Redfrog
It's already basically been a 361 page thread ripping on RedFrog. Some periods calmer than others but I don't think the tone has ever really changed much.
EDIT- But really, I think most people aren't as overly concerned. They have already paid, already booked their vacation schedule or whatever. I think most people are more concerned about getting their passes.

This. I have multiple people in my group who saw Zedd, The Killers, and 1 or 2 others they liked on the lineup and just said screw it and decided to go without even really knowing who's playing. Only 1-2 people besides me out of my huge group are anxious for the schedule.
MikeG did say the schedule release was held up for "unavoidable circumstances" or something to the effect. Charlie XCX dropping could be that I suppose.
But he also said at that time that it was NOT due to an act dropping out...I think Charli dropping was a recent development. What was their excuse/reason beforehand?
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Doesnt matter the reason at this point...the bottom line is (and im sure it was their intention) after the awful lineup debacle which included a leak, a one-week promise, another leak, and a name blocked out--it seemed like itd be very intelligent to release the schedule early or earlier than normal and they promised that goal by saying late april/early may as a possibility. Something held it up and now what a shock its JUNE. No specifics as expected, very few updates though a few posts today and now we are two weeks out. Anything is possible at this point--we can get it today, we can get it a week before which is absurd, we can get it 2 days before, which is ludicrous, hell I wouldn't be surprised if Red Frog handed them out on Thursday...
The schedule doesn't matter to some people but it matters a lot to me and I really wish we had it and it's already far too late at this point which is infuriating, especially after the lineup fiasco...

This. Some people have been saying "you already committed, you're gonna have fun anyway, why stress over the schedule?" Because i already KNOW there will be at least a couple really bad conflicts for my personal tastes/preferences, and I want time to mull over those tough decisions. That isn't absurd of me to want and expect, especially when they told us that we would have it weeks ago.

The reason I want a schedule is because I attend multiple festivals each year. I like to look at the schedules and where there are conflicts I try and see if I can see one or the other at another festival. I am the one who organizes for my group which consists of 6-10 people per frstival that go down with us. The group usually puts what festivals we go to in my hands. I can tell you that the schedule being released late this year will probably prevent us from going back in the future.

I haven't committed yet. Mainly because I am waiting to purchase around $215 area on the re-sale market...but part of it is because I haven't seen the schedule.
I am more than likely going no matter what, but I have considering bailing on my friends if the schedule is awful.

We did premier for the first time last year and it made the world of difference, and doing it again this year. The long walk across the bridge and back to camp was getting old. Doing an RV for Bonnaroo, and am so excited about that. How were you at the end of that two weekends?
Saw on the fan page that Mike G said the delay isn't related to Charli, so there's that. Also, they think Inforoo is overrun with idiots so at least the feeling is mutual.
That's honestly laughable. Who is getting the late night slots then if none of these acts? It is probably the white panda every night for two hours, unopposed. Everyone else gets afternoon slots. #redfroglogic
....WE'VE HIT TURBULENCE!
I dont think the Pavilion Stage is gonna be able to handle this guy.

hahah wow really? I used to like the FF message board until you have to click 14 different topics, i like to browse and just click the one that catches my eye. Besides the highlighted ones no thread really gets any attention because its buried away in some category. As for the Facebook fans, i haven't took one thing out of their mouths seriously. Out of a group of maybe 15 people i'm the only one who even cares about the schedule and even knows what inforoo is... haha it sucks but its better then going alone.

Seriously this. I never understand what I'm clicking into or what board/topic- I am actually on. It's confusing enough that I generally don't even bother going on there anymore.
