May 17th in Dublin than May 22nd in Italy, don't think Axl's gonna make it down to the Gulf this year.
Yep--it has to be a myth. Hangout worked pretty exclusively with a radio station out of Mobile (92ZEW) last year. They announced their lineup early and were very heavily involved with the whole thing. I doubt a Pensacola station would have any inside info. It's probably a saboteur from Deluna Fest ;D

I know, it's a bummer because deluna's lineup last year was so awesome. Having said that, I ended up at voodoo like I always do. So did apparently everyone else, because despite all the griping about voodoo's lineup city park was packed, while deluna let you bring a friend for free.
Oh and please no one stay up until midnight. There is no real indication that the lineup will drop then.
I'm probably going to pick Bonnaroo VIP over this AND bonnaroo based off of rumors of who is going to play, but it would be nice to actually know who is going to play.. Still crossing my fingers for an announcement this afternoon. That fake poster saying it would be at midnight last night really rubbed me the wrong way because I really wanted to believe them. Now I get to spend my day off checking the website every half hour like an idiot.

Sorry Bonnie I can't pass up Incubus, plus it's my hubby's birthday weekend and he would much rather be at a metal fest than at Hangout. I texted Holls to let her know, so we can figure out what to do with the condo. It has a 60 day cancellation policy so we have some time to decide.
I will have to talk to her too and see how many people we can get. My sister might go depending on the lineup. Also, RunningRaleigh is thinking about going too. I just talked to him a few days ago.

The place I have booked has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a queen fold out couch. It's a few blocks from Hangout.
if we decide to go we'll be looking to split a condo with people. we split one with jade and some of her friends last year. she told me she's probably not going this year.
Awesome guys!! We'll bring the topic back up when the lineup drops and people have more definitive plans. (HINT HINT HANGOUT!) I'm sure we could do air mattresses and such too if there is too much interest.

The Hangout Beach, Music and Arts Festival Lineup and ticketing announcement is coming your way in the next couple of days. In the meantime, we're curious: What is the very first thing you are going to do when you get to Gulf Shores for Hangout in May?
I can't help but be disappointed. Its selfish to complain about waiting, but I'm aggravated now. Going to forget about this until next week, or at least try to.
I am thinking Further, RHCP, and either Tom Petty or Neil Young w/ Crazy Horse. It will be my first year attending. Me and 15 friends have swore off Bonnaroo for Hangout. Is there reentry to the festival? I was hoping not to pay for all of my meals because I usually just have liquid bread when that happens. I can also see SCI, Eddie Vedder, Bon Iver, The Roots, Zach Deputy, and I am really hoping for The Revivalist!

it is difficult for me to think of bookable headliners that could beat the Radiohead/Phish combo at roo this summer.
