Ok, so Deftones played arenas as part of a package tour almost 20 years ago and did some smaller arenas with Incubus even further back. They are clearly an established arena act.
at a craft fair a few weeks ago I thought about how it would be really funny if there was a black metal band whose logo was written in one of those barely legible “handwritten” fonts you see on wedding invitations and other cutesy things but the future just might be post-futurist non-lexical hieroglyphics.

a test case for a band well known for their indecephierable logo:

also nothing against troye but they are so different stylistically at this point that their music just doesnt mesh well together. This would have made more sense for Crash imo. I wish Charli just did large theaters instead
I signed up on Ticketmaster but I haven't received anything yet.
No code needed. Theyre doing it how lots of uk tours work. You sign up and they send a link which ties to your tm account and thats how you get into the sale. No password.

My 13-year-old is obsessed with Alan Walker, so I'm thinking of taking her to one of his 2/13-2/15 shows in Pittsburgh, Detroit, or Chicago. Does anyone happen to know the presale code for any of these?
Strangely people in La give a shit about Dua Lipa and nowhere else. 50,000 in queue vs 2000 for Chicago an hour ago. Or its just the bots, who knows.
Could be another Fred Again arena tour. Fake holding back tickets to make people scared and buy, and then they drop half the arena the week of the show and screw over anyone who needs to sell.

Go check the sales right now. There was a decent amount in the chiccago sale this morning. Now youll see them just pushing overpriced stuff. I saw one delayed drop of tickets and it was $350 side stage platinum stuff that sold cause people are stupid. Nosebleeds for $200 is not making me too happy either. But why fake an inflated queue to just turn on platinum a year out.

ML BUCH: 2024 TOUR DATES
08 Dec Echoplex Los Angeles, CA 10 Dec Pioneer Works Brooklyn, NY 11 Dec Thalia Hall Chicago, IL 13 Dec Gray Area San Francisco, CA 15 Dec Foro Indie Rocks Mexico City, MX
The tour they did with Incubus in 2000 played some smaller arenas.
I saw Deftones do a co-headline tour with Godsmack in 2002 (Puddle of Mudd opened while at their peak). It sold out the amphitheater that Green Day sold out last month (off date from Saviors tour so no Smashing Pumpkins).
Deftones are big with Zoomers in addition to Millennials. They drew a good sized crowd at Lollapalooza this year and I think fomo cause even more Zoomers to get into them.
That being said, my friend got 2 tickets and after fees it was $375, hard pass.

The "three compatible artists, but not entirely musically similar" arena tours seem to be a trend now, in the wake of the Weezer and Kasey Musgraves tours.

Because artists dont want to play 2 nights in a 5,000 cap venue and just decide to do one date for a couple thousand more people and the same paycheck. And those 2 tours are package tours. Youre getting multiple support acts so theres decent value to the ticket being bought. Flaming Lips, Dinosaur Jr, Father John Misty and Nickel Creek arent some brand new act with one album
