Posted this to the NYC thread, too, but someone fucked up and accidentally posted a Dec. 5th date for LCD Soundsystem at the Knockdown Center on AXS. It's been pulled, but reddit has the screenshots.
I'm guessing this means another residency or multi-boro run, as it'd be pretty weird for them to play a single date on a random Thursday. The AXS listing said tix on sale 9/20, so there should be an announcement soon, I'd imagine.

first off all i am endlessly jealous of any of u fuckers who got to see her perform B2b, Rewind, So I, and Spring Breakers on the brat mini tour. second of all, Charli and Troye alternate performing every few songs, i have mixed feelings on this because i really dont care for Troye’s music but i guess it’ll be interesting.

Had to miss the first half of Pulp dates (yay Covid) but in San Francisco for the last dates. Anyone going to either SF or the 3 LA dates?
I'll be at all 3 LA dates! Had a SF ticket also, but had to dump it, ironically, cause I've been in the UK. (just got back but jetlagged as all hell and would not have been physically able to do that show)
also nothing against troye but they are so different stylistically at this point that their music just doesnt mesh well together. This would have made more sense for Crash imo. I wish Charli just did large theaters instead
There are better ways to format a show like that and not make it seem sloppy. I guess Charli didnt research how lots of hip hop shows with dual headliners would do it. Or On The Run. Unless she though this was the NIN/Bowie tour.

(I just hope that Boston and NYC don't get shortchanged with a shorter headlining set because there's an opening act, as opposed to all of the other shows on the tour. St. Vincent fans have already been taken care of; she played both cities this week. It would be a shame if Cave played for, say, an hour and 45 min at these shows as opposed to two hours and 15 min at every other show, because they decided to play larger venues and have an opener with some drawing power of their own. "I'm sorry, I know that our burgers are kind of small, but just look at those fries and that parsley garnish.")
He has had openers before and still played for 2 hours in the past. I have seen him with 2 openers and he still did a 2 hour set. So, whats the issue? Paid too much money and hope you dont feel like you wasted an evening out cause he cut out 2 songs cause a girl with a guitar needed time on stage?
Oh, I'm fine with a girl playing guitar if it's Rosali Middleman or Karly Hartzman or someone else I actually like. Annie Clark is a technically proficient guitarist, but her songwriting is as meh as meh can be.
What's also very meh are people who mistakenly think that if you criticize an individual, it's a blanket statement about an entire gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, country of origin, religion, etc. MLK dreamed of the day when a man was judged by the content of his character and not the color of his skin, but both today's woke far left nutjobs and MAGA far right nutjobs insist upon viewing everyone and everything through a thick stack of demographic lenses.
I was just coming in to post this. Like this is not shocking at all. They have not toured together as original members in 14 years for a reason. Also, if my bandmate punched me in my face like that, I guarantee, I would never talk to that mother fucker ever again and if I did we'd be swinging.
