Pretty sure they can rename Hopscotch Festival to GARAGESCOTCH FESTIVAL, you know what I mean.
Also: In for Richmond. And by "in", I mean I don't plan on remembering any of this show after it happens.
this is maybe a dumb question but would a person only into like radio alt rock at most and mostly pop music enjoy a PJ Harvey concert? Like is she really good live and probably good at winning people over? I really haven't listened a ton I won two tickets and original friend going backed out. I'd rather not go alone, but also I'm kind of worried to take someone and then they hate it and that ruins me from having a good time
Did bring a friend to this and they did enjoy it despite not knowing the music, they weren't blown away or anything

I thought it was pretty awesome. Do recommend
Was she only playing mostly new stuff? Wasn't a big fan of the last album.

Lines up perfectly for Voodoo if they do some legacy shit.
I can ask Dave Rosser... I am really curious how he is planning to pull off this extensive of a tour, I think he ended up having to sit some out on the last tour.

About half the set was from the new album. Some of those songs were probably the low points of the set, but overall I still definitely enjoyed the set a lot, and some of the songs from the new album were still really good live.

Anyone know if there will be a specific page for the $20 live nation shows tomorrow morning, or if will be a code on the regular on-sale page of the shows, or will just be a regular ticket option on said pages?
It's probably going to be a shiz show that's over in five minutes with most of us coming out empty handed.

DING DING DING we have a winner!
I was on exactly when the sale began and it never even gave me the option for $20 tickets. No "we're all sold out" message, nothing. Just a list of shows under the $20 banner that were list price when you clicked through. Tried both Santana and BuckinghamMcVie.
Managed to get Chris Stapleton tickets. That general onsale page just had a ticket option that said "Live Nation Summer Series" or something like that. $20 flat.
The Deep Purple show links to Ticketmaster instead of LN and then I can't figure out how to access the sale. I'm trying for the Cincinnati show specifically if anyone else wouldn't mind to take a look at it for me. I tried to check the Train show at same venue since it is part of sale too but couldn't find it on that one either.

I have now tried every show I am even remotely interested in that is listed for Nashville (Santana, BuckinghamMcVie, Slayer, Post Modern Jukebox, Queen), and no dice.

If that's the co-bill with Alice, you're in for a hell of a show. We're not getting that one, just Alice solo. But we're getting a mini-set with the original Alice Cooper band, so I'll take it.
I was intending to swing by the box office next week on my way to Indianapolis (north from Lexington) to avoid fees which should make it less than $30 but still would like to spare myself the inconvenience of 20 mile detour and save a few dollars while I'm at it.

Yep, it's up for me too now! Just snagged MMJ and Dead & Company tix
haha quak I even woke up early today. Nada over here.
I think there was an issue with the start times for the sale, because both the venues are in the eastern time zone but it seems like the $20 tickets may not have become active until 9am EDT. It may be worth checking again at the top of the next few hours.

Yeah. I gave it another go, had more options but still not much. Got a Deftones ticket since I've missed them the last 4 or so times I've had the chance (festival issue, festival cancelled, too expensive, too expensive) so that's cool. The Chicago/Doobie Brother's is hardly a sale from original ticket price so if I decide on that I can wait. The list seems to give me the option for Kings of Leon (I just want to see Deerhunter don't judge), and Future, but neither are available.
But on the plus side, I got tickets for the whole family to see Hans Zimmer.
That's awesome. Were there even $20 tickets for Hans Zimmer? When I checked this morning (and I woke up earlier than 8 am just to be able to buy tickets for HZ), none were available for Radio City shows contrary to that PDF list.

Yup, I think part of the reason why there were still so many is that the $20 tickets were available through a small link on the venue's website, instead of from the LiveNation page.

I managed to get Depeche Mode in Tampa through the promotion, took a few minutes to show up but it was directly from the standard Live Nation ticket page.
