Not much in the Cleveland area I can see, but I'll probably try for My Morning Jacket and Deep Purple/Alice Cooper/Edgar Winter.
Was hoping for Young the Giant or Third Eye Blind b/c I wanted to see Silversun pickups and Cold War Kids as openers. Just wasn't willing to pay full price for the headliners...

But the list stopped at "S"
Third Eye Blind is one of the discount tickets here. I am not sure where you are looking.

Anyone in Knoxville going to black angels tonight? I have an extra because the lady is out of town and people like /usr/bin/simp want to be responsible adults.

this is maybe a dumb question but would a person only into like radio alt rock at most and mostly pop music enjoy a PJ Harvey concert? Like is she really good live and probably good at winning people over? I really haven't listened a ton I won two tickets and original friend going backed out. I'd rather not go alone, but also I'm kind of worried to take someone and then they hate it and that ruins me from having a good time

Probably not. She's pretty much my favorite artist ever, but not everyone appreciates what she does.

I saw her a few weeks ago and will say that if you have any desire to go, do it. It's currently the best show I've seen this year, thus far.

We humor Sangy but know his views. He thinks Closer is better than Unkown Pleasures
I'm definitely going. More debating if its worth bringing along someone who doesn't know her at all just so the ticket doesn't go to waste and I'm not there alone, or if I'd probably just enjoy it more by myself

It's a spectacle, for sure. If I have an inkling that my wife won't like something, I just leave her at home with the toddlers. You know, for having bad opinions.

Full Disclosure: I'm a fanboy.

If they are the type to have the courtesy to be respectful and quiet during the music, even if they don't care for it, then go for it.

Anyone know if there will be a specific page for the $20 live nation shows tomorrow morning, or if will be a code on the regular on-sale page of the shows, or will just be a regular ticket option on said pages?
QUACK EVERYTHING War on Drugs tour coming to town same day as Lips/DeMarco.
Ouch. I still can't get over War on Drugs playing Charlotte on this tour instead of Asheville.
I've already seen Lips and DeMarco separately, both last year, and it's also more expensive of the two. Still might try to swing seeing one of them in Austin since they AREN'T doing same day shows there.

It's probably going to be a shiz show that's over in five minutes with most of us coming out empty handed.
