Yeah, it's early to start thinking about 2011 plans.
Depending on the lineup, my girlfriend and I are considering the Total Access package. We discussed this in the VIP camp in 2010 and there were more than a few people interested.
I'm curious who else would consider this option...
I'd "consider" it Idio, but the costs have got to be through the roof, especially since the Roo website doesn't even really give you a firm indication of pricing. It would be incredible though.
Anybody on here ever done this or know how much it costs?
Ha, I already did the same. You will get a generic email back that looks like this

I was surprised that questions about a package that costs a little over 18 grand was not replied to by an actual person. None of the questions I asked them were answered in this. I replied to them again, so we will see what they say.
So if you have 8 folks that are in it runs 2,312.50 per person.
So I emailed them again and got a shorter, but still generic email. This one said they are reviewing their 2010 program and put me on a list to contact once they get all their ducks back in a row.
The cynic in me says they'll raise the rates to $20K for the 10th anniversary; the music-lovin' 'Roo junkie in me has already earmarked a special savings account & doesn't care.
I kind of figured it would cost around $20,000 when I saw it this year. To be honest, $2,300 doesnt sound THAT bad per person and I'm a cheapass. For all the convenience you receive plus hassle free viewing I am def VERY interested. Of course I would need to start saving NOW haha. If someone would really like to put together an 8 person inforoo team I will start putting away money now.
EDIT: I do snore so I'll gladly chip in $2,500 lol.

IF we win the lottery - I would love to do this - but the liklihood of that happening is next to zero - so I will live vicariously through those of you that can do this.
I hate to say this, but here goes. This has a high suck potential if you are going with folks you don't know. Think about it...snoring? When you are paying $625/night? What about the guy that drinks all the beer in the bus before they restock. Or who clogs up the crapper with a the deuce that ate Manchester.
Think long before you do this. If you can afford the $20K for you and your closest crew, by all means...but realize that in the end, it's still a bus, and 8 on a bus is not exactly room to roam.
Thanks for playing devil's advocate...valid points indeed! But here's my two cents' worth (and yep, I expect change back!): my bus mates can snore til the cows come home; I'll probably be too deaf from ROCKIN' ON THE QUACKIN' STAGE that I won't hear 'em! Plus, it's only 4 nights: little or no sleep is a sweet tradeoff for the other perks.

I am not sure that the bus really matters that much, in the whole picture. Back stage access, private party lounges - probably shared with band members, the bus is only for passing out in after you can't stand up. When you calculate what you spent in 2010 @ Bonnaroo on tix, food, & party supplies, it seems much more reasonable. It is $428.00 a month x 11 months. Start saving!

Now I'm starting to get on board. I'll say this much, though...I want to be the first to arrive and the last to leave, especially if I spring for me AND my three not-so-younguns.
