What's funny to me is that the posts in this thread are mostly disagreeing with ideas and feelings behind the petition, yet it is approaching 100 signatures. Are people more likely to post to a topic when they disagree than when they agree, or has the hostility expressed by some scared away people who were disappointed and angry from identifying themselves?
Just something I'm wondering.
I don't know if people have been scared off or not. What I'm wondering is - what do you have to be angry about? Because you didn't get what you wanted? I can understand disappointment, but really, why the hell would anybody be angry? Makes no sense to me, but do what you want. Just please don't bring that negativity to the farm.

ok, if you count britney spears (making a comment about her lady parts), pete wentz (fall out boy), rick astley and whiny mgillicutty, then you have 80 signatures in 24 hours as of the time of this post. That is 0.10% of the total bonnaroo crowd.
it seems like the extreme exception and not the rule. one tenth of one percent is going to go unnoticed at superfly's office.

I slit the sheet. The sheet I slit and on the slitted sheet I sit.
i completely agree with the fact that superfly mishandled the whole situation by labeling this announcement big, but i don't think a petition will be that effective. especially one where people like billy corgan, britney spears, and rick astley can sign . how will they even know that these are in fact bonnaroo goers? i think the most you could do to express your thoughts to them is sending emails. if their email is flooded with complaints about the same thing they are bound to respond, rather than one questionable petition which they will most likely disregard. not that they will respond but just a thought/idea.

you know, as much as i was truly dissapointed with the announcement (i love les, but regardless), i think this is so pathetic. you all should be blessed to be going to roo and consider those who cannot even go. bounce back from the initial dissapointment and get excited about the four day incredible musical experience.

Lets have a petition party to burn petitions and drink lots of beer and puke on the petitons and when I need to relieve myself.... it will be on the petition.
