Last night I went running for the first time this year, and it felt great - until I stopped. Aside from a nasty case of chub rub, I've got deep pain in both my arches that is preventing me from walking even 16 hours later. They're swollen and kept me from falling asleep last night, so now I've got to keep them elevated and hopefully get some sleep before I go into work this evening. Luckily my boss is awesome and had no problem with my calling out of the first half of my shift, but man this sucks.
Right after this, I got hit with a stomach bug that knocked me out for a few days. So I spent a few days shitting non-stop, which then led to me being super backed up for the past few days because of dehydration. Of course I haven't been eating through any of this, so I've lost six pounds that I really didn't want to lose. And I've been incredibly oversensitive and on edge lately, which I'm really hoping is because of the lack of glucose and will fix itself soon because it's been clouding my judgment and interactions with people.
I'm just super whiny and I'm getting on my own nerves. I'm physically, mentally, and emotionally out of whack, and just don't really want to be around myself.
sorry to hear this my friend. If anyone can bounce back it's you!

also, I'm pretty sure running did this to you. yet another reason I shall skip running today
Im genuinely curious, am I wrong to want to dance at a New Order concert? Fucking hate crowds in Philadelphia.
This is really old but I'm responding to it anyways.
Short answer: Hell fucking no. You dance your ass off.
Long answer: Cap'n Mac & I saw New Order in December at Day For Night & they were phenomenal. We danced the whole time. Terrible crowds suck. They just bring down the energy of the show when they're not into it. Granted, sometimes that's the performers fault for not bringing up the energy of the crowd, but sometimes it really is just the crowd. I saw Paul McCartney in 2014 in lower bowl seats and he was fantastic, as usual, & someone 3 rows behind me told me to sit down. I laughed and told him he should be respectful and stand for a motherfuckin Beatle. You do you homie. If you wanna dance, fucking dance. It only takes one to start a dance party. Sleepy & I will be seeing New Order again at the Sydney Opera House during Vivid with the Australian Chamber Orchestra in June, and you can bet your ass we'll be up dancing the whole time. Even if it's just us in our section getting down.

I'm sorry Jaz. It'll pass though. You're body will get back on track and your mood will level out. You're just having a rough week. *hugs*

Thank you, don't worry we still danced even though people looked at us like we were on meth because we were smiling and getting the fuck down even during their stuff off their new album which is in my opinion awesome. I've never been one to let the opinions of others get to me especially at concerts, but the snoody looks we were getting for having fun at a New Fucking Order show needed to be addressed. I hope you guys get down extra for me in Australia when you see them again!

One of my biggest annoyances about seeing legends in concert is that they attract those who don't go to shows regularly and just don't understand concert etiquette. The person behind me at Macca in '13 kept trying to convince me and everyone in the first several rows to sit. I felt like saying "uhh, ma'am, a major part of why I dropped this much coin on these seats is specifically so I could dance freely without asshats such as yourself guilting me out of it. You think it's rude of me to stand? I think it's ruder of you to expect me to sit." But instead, like so many problems in life, we just ignored her 'til she stopped.
BTW.... I heart the fact that someone had to shout "down in front!" at YOU of all people.

This definitely happened when I saw MMJ/Bob Dylan, so that makes sense. We were alllll the way back on the grass GA area of a giant amphitheater, and some b-hole tried to tell me to sit down during MMJ. He then flipped me off and I just gave him a smile and a thumbs up. Sorry no. Also in a GA situation, I got here before you, if you really cared that much about your view, you should've gotten here before me.

My driveway is on a slight hill. Last night I pulled into my driveway, but had a lot of shit on my mind and didn't put the car in park. I went to step out of the car and started to roll backwards, so I had to jump into the car while it was rolling down the hill, and the fucking door hit a bush and bent the wrong way. And now the door doesn't really close, without slamming it really hard. And I missed Archer. Son of a bitch.

That's one hell of a bush!!!
And that sucks!
For real, all my friends are making archer jokes and I'm too behind to understand what they are saying.
I woke up and got ready to be at work at 11. Double checked my schedule to see what time I got off, and I don't go in till 1pm. Motherfucker. This is double grr, too, because I thought I'd get off early enough to go see a free Misterwives show on campus. Instead, I woke up early for no reason AND I'm closing, so no show. Booooooo.

If it makes you feel better I'm a whole season behind with Archer.

My job does merit increases once a year to reward employees and keep up with inflation. It's basically 3% every year. So I had my evaluation last month and was told to expect my increase on my next pay period. Then my manager says that he got an email starting that when I changed positions, my eval and merit dates where never changed correctly. Therefore, the eval is done already but I won't get my merit increase until July. My manager, who is honestly a nice guy and is only a pawn in the machine, tried to soften the blow by saying that "at least we've already completed your eval." Well, no, that's not a good thing because I have only been in this position four months and haven't had enough time to give them enough information to properly score me on my eval. I could've potentially scored a higher score in three months from now. Not that big of a GRR but 3% over the course of three months would've gone far towards debt.

After spending 3.5 hours waiting to get my brakes done (when I only went in for an oil change and to get my splash guard reattached) I came home only to drop something on my toe and now its seriously bruised and hurts....
That "something" I dropped was a frozen 1lb Reese easter bunny.... Today has just not been the best...

I saw that at Walmart the day after Easter and it was SOOO hard to resist getting it. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but maaaan do I love me some Reese's. Although, not frozen. I don't like hard, frozen chocolate unless it's being frozen to save it from certain melted death. Choco chips in ice cream are the worst and have ruined cookie dough ice cream my entire life.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

So my 12 year highschool sweetheart relationship just ended last night. We tried, but we just were to different. Way to different. It sucks, but im looking forward now. Im looking to move out west. Ive been wanting to join the green rush for awhile, just had my life on hold for a few years. Any thoughts on Cali, Portland, Wash, or Colo? I have big decisions ahead of me, all opinions are welcome.

I gotta know, how much did your brakes cost you? mine are getting really rundown, especially after *slamming* on them last month when a car pulled out in front of me on the freeway. I'm scurred for the costs.
