word. i once made a tshirt for my buddies band at their first show at a battle of the bands and definitely ironed the letters directly on the shirt. they just stuck to the iron.
i ended up scribbling on it in sharpie. "TRIPWIRE" and then i drew a turtle on the back

and for those who were worried about the puppy, she is keeping him at her house. We had the little guy at my house lst night and my daughter (11 yo) fell in love with it. He's so cute and fuzzy, like a puff ball!
Yay! Thanks for that update! Does the puppy have a name yet?
Hope this sounds ok, I am not the writer dmbfanintn is. This what I posted on AC's message board. AC frequently responds to questions and concernes here, sometimes Ashley Capps himself.
Dear AC Entertainment,
This is a long story so please stay with me.
I am a member of a Bonnaroo message board callled Inforoo. It came to our attention that two young men had hitch hiked from California to Tennessee for Bonnaroo. They were staying in a makeshift tent close to the Bushy Branch House of Prayer. A few of our members stopped by to see if they needed anything. They said they were doing just fine except for some drunk guys throwing beer bottles one night and some church members giving them some stern warnings!! Yea, real christain thing to do.
They also said that when trying to get construction work at Bonnaroo one of them could not find his Social security card. When the Big Boss Man Jim Tobin told him he could not work, the young man responded "whatever" and tried to leave. Big Boss Man seemed to take extreme offense to this and promised to have them kicked off the property as soon as the Bonnaroo lease came into effect.
Several locals and members of our board have gotten to know these guys pretty well. They are very gracious and kind young men. They have been featured in two local news papers and reached "Rock Star" status within our board. We all raved about how we respected these kids for living so free and on their own terms. Also, we talked alot about how good it is to see the "Bonnaroo Spirit" in action. We this whole situation embodies the essence of Bonnaroo.
If it wasn't bad enough that a local church gave these guys crap, here comes Jim Tobin and boots them off the property!!! A Bonnaroo worker! He should be ashamed of himself and I hope you either get rid of the guy or at least reprimand him. Maybe he needs to be explained just what Bonnaroo means?
Don't be surprised if you see some anti Jim Tobin T-shirts at Roo this year.
Another update is in order as things are getting worse, perhaps!
First, the small fuzzy one does in fact have a name, it is "miss-demeanor" even though its a boy! ;D
My daughter and I went to the store this morning and while we were there I grabbed the boys a bag of ice and a 12pk of cokes.
When we stopped by the new campsite Kramer filled me in on the details of what has progressed since yesterday.
Remeber the girl that had set up next to them, wel she had to tear her site down yesterday as well. Kramer told me that she said yesterday morning after she tore down she was going to work, but would be back at some point to get her stuff.
Well, Kramer and I got all of his and Anthony's stuff packed away in my truck, all of her stuff was packed away right there where she left it!
He was with me for at least 3 hours, then after we got the new site up, my wife, kids and I went to the pool.
On the way home from the pool, the girls stuff was still there!
He told me this morning that the forkilift operator told him they were talking about calling the cops out on him because that girls stuff had gone missing!
The security guy told him yesterday that if they didn't have their stuff up by 12:00 it would be disposed of. Kramer and Anthony stuff was up! Hers was not. We have no clue what happened to her stuff, but Me, my wife and my 11 year old daughter can all attest that her stuff was still there and that Kramer didn't mess with it, because he was with me!
So now he is worried that the cops are gonna come hassle him. I really DO NOT KNOW if Jim Tobin is behind this or not, but.......???
Here's bad news #2, they may have to move again! The lady who's land they are staying on, her brother in law is selling ice right there and has been clearing out brush and trees, he told Kramer yesterday that thier tent was in the way of his work and he would have to move.
Maybe, we can just find them a spot a little further back out of the way, but I told him this morning that if he HAD TO, he is always welcome to set up in our back yard, we have a privacy fence, so noone will be able to hassle them.
BUT,,, they won't be inthe middle of it all and Anthony would have to walk a pretty good ways to work.
Nevertheless, I imagine after all the crap that Jim has given them, they probably won't be able to set back up in thier original spot, I think they will end up in tent only!
My daughter got to play with the puppy this morning! She loves it!
I just talked to Kramer, he said that they are going to be OK where they are, they just have to move the tent a few feet over out of the way. So I guess the location problem is solved!!
If the cafepress idea doesn't work, could we get a big white sheet, iron-on the saying several times and cut it into small flags for each of our campsites?
now I feel like I'm going to let everyone down... I can't make those shirts... it's going to cost too much and I need every penny I have for bills and supplies and whatnot.... sorry....
thanks for understanding.. I really wanted to make those shirts out, too!
oh well, I guess if I had known the guys name a couple of weeks ago it would have worked out, but it's just cutting it too close now with only 10 days left...
I don't even have a tent yet! (this is something that I'm rather pissed off at my friend about, because he said his parents had one and that we could use it, but it turns out they don't, and I got word about this yesterday.)
Oh, Justin, I bought three extra ponchos today for people like your friend who are in denial about the whole rain situation. You're staying in tent only, right?
Yep, they were $1 today at Target. We have four for the two of us, but I went ahead and grabbed three more for Justin's friend and whoever else needs them. If nothing else, we can sit on them during shows if the ground is soggy.
unfortunatly, we aren't staying in tent only, something that I pleaded w/ my friend to do, but he's just not comfortable camping away from his car (still doesn't get that this is Roo and no one will f*ck with his car, but oh well, what can ya do? ), and since he's driving, I kind of have to go with what he wants as far as that goes, but I will be meeting up with everyone at tent-only on thursday eventually
EDIT: wow, post number 500.. I spend waaaay too much time on this board

So is that church sign assuming people are going to be over dosing? I went to a christian school for 10 years, this is why i quit and have such a sour outlook on churches. Most of the people going to them are some of the meanest people ever. So, if Bushy Branch Church or whatever it is, is hating on ROO.....then I say to hell with that church and its people. Sorry if Im completely wrong about this but damnit man, church can really piss me off sometime.......LET THEE WHO HAS NOT SINNED CAST THE FIRST STONE!!!!!...why cant people be happy that kids can come together and get along for 4 days. I have other things Id like to say about that church but Im not going to cause there may be some good people there, doubtful though. The people there need to probably look at there own kids who probably will be getting fucked up in town during Bonnaroo, and realize their kids are no better or worse than us. I hope Im wrong about this whole thing tho and that I miss interpreted the sign.
