is it possible, that with the way the Police made Virgin Festival move dates, that they told Roo, "no more additions?"
that would make me sad. real sad.
I don't think the police have that kind of power over Bonnaroo. It's one of the premier festivals in America. The Police probably wanted to headline the festival. If you're reuniting, you wanna play in front of a sh*tload of people, I think 80,000 + covers that.
I have a gut feeling, and I'm almost certain of this:
I really think that Modest Mouse will be there this year... Nothing after Barcelona on their schedule, new album should be ready to release another single to promote, and I just think it fits.

Damn that is amazing. i literally was just about to post that ^^^^
I would have to find the thread, but yes, they did say there will be a tour. i guess that would give us the Shins and Modest Mouse as good possibilities for adds?

that's my thoughts. i'd probably hit up a couple of their shows as well along with roo.
I need an addition announcement to give me the excuse to call my friends. I haven't talked to them about Roo in over 4 days!!!! Thank goodness there's yous guys
I saw the Shins a couple of weeks ago in Philly and they put on an absolutely stellar performance. It was a lot better than the show they put on there a few years ago. It seems they don't do well with larger crowds, but I think they're getting better with that. Hopefully, if they do end up at Bonnaroo they'll be calm.
Yeah, that whole post Garden State boom that the Shins underwent sort of threw them for a loop, I think. I remember hearing great things about them before that movie, and then awful things once the hype skyrocketed, and now I'm hearing good things again.
Damn, for some reason I just assumed that there would an addition when I got home tonite, no idea what made me so sure, maybe tomorrow, this is getting silly, I want to be amazed by an addition that nobody thought of.
I have from a VERY credible source that we'll get an artist addition either today or tomorrow... followed by a series of weekly announcements with "all sorts of cool additions." To quote him, "this is shaping up to be an amazing Bonnaroo if I do say so myself...:

I believe you, I'll glued to my desk for the next 24-48 hours. The new videos also lend to the idea that updates are coming.
Just out of curiosity, who's the source? I don't want a name or anything, but is it someone you know inside AC/Superfly? Perhaps the relative of someone inside AC/Superfly? An ex-girlfriend's cousin who lives next to the guy who used to ride the bus to school with the daughter of someone who knew someone that worked inside AC/Superfly?
^Well that's cool for me. I guess I won't be going out looking for a job today after all... Time to call out for some herbiture and some beer!!! At this point, I could care less if this is a bogus report, haha, cuz i'm to the point now of I'll believe any piece of info relating to bonnaroo. (fingers crossed: Mars Volta, Modest Mouse, Neil Young, Public Enemy, Robert Fripp, Slint, NIN, or Mike Patton.)
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
