Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Okay, these are all acts I would really like to see [again] and I promise to bring friends:
Sufjan Stevens, The Arcade Fire, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joan Jett, Belle and Sebastian, Outkast, The Shins, Green Day, The Kaiser Chiefs, Gnarls Barkley, Wolf Parade, Oh no! Oh my!, The Genders, The Cat Empire, Coheed and Cambria, Midlake
Also, if you could get the guys from Dispatch to play together I guarantee that'd draw a huge crowd -they did it recently for a charity in New York.

yeh, Dispatch would be awesome. State Radio would be really cool as well. I'm also hoping for another Marley to be added, the more Marley's the better. Rage Against the Machine is really improbable, but if they were added I could care less who got added after them. Hell, I would pay 200 bucks just to see RATM play in Manchester, TN. I'm hardcore.

Rage may be improbable, but i would still hold out hope for a Tom Morello/ Zack de la Rocha thing....just cuz i want to see ratm in any form sooo badly.

I'm curious about all the hype in here about Volta being added. Are there any rumors or tour info to support this idea or are you all just very wishful thinking? Last year had tons of people crying for their add too (which never came) so I am just wondering where all the "why no Volta add?" cries are coming from. Why is there such an expectation over any other addition?
Seems like some here have created a Volta echo chamber and are disappointing themselves.

yeh. Zack might be there to promote his solo album (if it even happens). Anyways, I will probably see you at The Nightwatchman show where I plan to wait hours if need be to be in the front. Its a big deal for me to see one of my role models and musical idols in person. I hope I get to meet him as well.
<3 anyone who is a Rage Against the Machiner
I also wonder if Chris Cornell will be touring to promote his solo album, if so, I hope he hits up the Roo. I know he is playing in select cities and not playing a whole lot of shows, but I would love to see him live to.

Ornette Coleman is a legend. I'm looking foward to seeing him. El-P is cool, too. But I got to say, other than those two this is a pretty week set of additions. I think Superfly has something up their sleves. We know for a fact that Dubconcious will be there, and RR is touring with Ziggy Marley, so he'll probably show up. I'd be shocked if MMW weren't there. Les might be there too, but I doubt it this year. Hmm, I'm suspicious.

It can be assumed that Artvandalay will be back this year. They are opening for John Butler Trio at the Sundown in the City (Knoxville) date during Bonnaroo. The two bands playing that Thursday's Sundown show have seemingly always been at Roo as well.
Do we really need anymore additions? Already i can see that there will be a lot of conflicts with scheduling. And more hard choices to make between seeing one band or another.
So far this is my list of who i want to see: (in no real order)
thursday: dunno.... any suggestions?
Friday: Manu Chao String cheese incident STS9 Gillian Welch DJ shadow
Saturday: Hold steady Keller williams Ben harper Kings of Leon Ween Flips Police Gov't mule
Sunday: Bob Weir & Ratdog White stripes Decemberists Wilco Regina Spektor wolfmother
Unknown Day: tool ornette coleman damien rice Franz ferdinand flight of the conchords panic mute math
I think on saturday i will need to be in 2 or 3 places at once.
I am beginning to fear the strong possibility that Bob Weir & Ratdog and the White Stripes will be playing opposite each other on different stages. This would be the penultimate kick in the ass...

I have the same issue but put the Decemberists in your Ratdog slot.
Talk about some weakass additions.........good thing i waited on edge for many many weeks for a bunch of no names. Ornette Coleman may be a jazz legend but this is very dissappointing to say the least.
yeah, as someone has mentioned before... alot of people bitch that bonnaroo is selling out and getting bigger and bigger names to sell tickets. then when the additions come around, everyone is bitching about the lack of big named artists. who cares. im sure their good anyways

I doubt they're working on it on a Sunday, the Bonnaroo website acts up a lot. For instance, I used to have my homepage set to "www.bonnaroo.com/2007/", and one day a few weeks ago it stopped working, just a blank screen. Yet, "www.bonnaroo.com/2007" worked fine.
At the moment, I get a blank screen when I go to "www.bonnaroo.com", but not for "www.bonnaroo.com/2007", I think it's just being fickle.
Of course, I hope I'm wrong, and they are updating.
