Forgive me for 1) getting off topic, 2) being a contrarian, and 3) beating a dead horse, but I really don't think we can count on Thursday being a full day, with a headliner and all. There's evidence to that point, but also evidence to the contrary (i.e. Juggernaut's email reply from Bonnaroo stating the the festival begins at noon on Friday). And also I still don't think Ween will play a 2 hr 45 min set in a tent-- no daytime tent show has ever been scheduled for more than 90 minutes and I don't think they'd change that for Ween, regardless of what their website says right now. Like much of the info being collected in this thread, none of it should be taken as gospel until we get the official word from Superfly. And this goes double for stuff that seems suspicious or out of the ordinary.
I agree that its not gonna have a headliner, but from the preliminary list it looks like its gonna be a lot bigger.
In the for what it's worth department, the Ween thing could be open ended. If The Police are scheduled to start at 8:30, it's not much a stretch to have Ween playing a 2 hour set with an open ended finish time. Especially if they play a tent show.
i guess its possible that we got the whole lineup. maybe the list that was leaked had all the acts on it and since it leaked they had to roll with it. i sitll think we might hav a couple coming. but it could make for a long wait for june. atleast some fests dont have all of this crap built into the way they operate and inform their fans. i think superfly overthinks soemthings and underthinks others. atleast they are consistent with over charging. they do that religiously.
i still love roo. i wish i could buy it. then everything would be decided by only the current members of inforoo through polls.

I think that it is completely possible that this could be correct. Last year during the conflict fiasco that was Saturday afternoon, Blues Traveler came on at 5:15 and played until 6:45 at the This tent, Les played from 6:00 to 7:00 in the That Tent, MMW played from 5:30 to 7:00 in the Other Tent, and Cypress played from 6:15 to 7:45 in the Which Stage. None of these bands had anyone play after them. Radiohead did not come on until 8:30, so there was plenty of time, for a band to play until 7:45 if they wished. This could be Superfly's way of giving Ween a little something extra (as opposed to a late night set like in 2004).
Hopefully this is true, because if some of the big bands get extended 2-2.5 hour sets, then you can actually catch a couple half sets of an 1 hour to 1.5 hours of two good bands. I have a feeling that if Ween is getting an extended closing which stage or tent set, that other bands might be as well. Maybe Manu Chao gets 2.5 hours on Friday Afternoon, or Ziggy gets a little longer and he plays a bunch of extra Bob songs to everyones delight. I would say that this could be good news for Ben Harper and the White Stripes but I think that they are too big to not be on the main stage, and I dont think non-headliners will get more than two hours.
You guys say that you won't believe anything different from the way things have been operating but Superfly always seems to switch things up a little bit every year, by adding stages, taking them away, making Thursday bigger, etc. Lets give Superfly a little more credit and hope that they are truely striving to make this event better every year.
Maybe, I just don't want to believe that we are'nt getting additions this year. Come on, Superfly prove me right and hook up some crazy additions. There definitely has to be more hop-hop added.

Oh man...they wouldn't put the Lips up against Ben Harper, would they? Because that would be devastating...
If Lips are during the day, they most likely conflict with
Ween and Ben Harper.
If Lips are at night, they most likely conflict with
Gov't Mule and Sasha/Digweed
You really can't win.
There is also the good possibility that the 2:45 minute set that Ween is playing may also have the Flaming lips involved as well. Ween for an hour and a half, and Lips for the rest of the time. Ween had a huge slot last time they were at Bonnaroo, so there is a good chance there set will be much shorter. That would be a fun 3 hours though...

Damnit!! They needed to be Friday. Bonnaroo better have some additions for us now, because Friday is some weak sh#t (other than TOOL). Seriously sorry to those of you who have some of your favorites on Friday, but Saturday and Sunday squash Friday like a little bug.

ummm . . .
a) yes, we know Keller is going to be there, he was part of the initial artist announcement which occured over a month ago.
b) what does that link have to do with him being at bonnaroo? (although I did enjoy the video for "Play This")
(On a seperate note, is someone out to get me? My karma keeps dropping and I don't think I've said anything that wasn't fact in the past month. Looking at my most recent 10 posts, just about everything I wrote was helpful. Just this morning the only posts I wrote were one redirecting someone to the Harper thread, and another about a dream I had, and my karma has dropped two points since then, what gives?)

Has anyone ever figure out how accurate these threads have been in the past? Has there ever been any predictions that were just way off?
I'm just wondering because my guess is that a lot of the artists try and stay for the whole fest anyways, so probably many of them are flexible in terms of scheduling and might just announce a date like Saturday just because they need to put out a date. (i'm thinking of the lips here)

Thats it I can no longer take the suspense, speculation & rumors....This hold out on additions has become obnoxious. I don't care if its new kids on the block, menuedo & snow...just tell me who. dang you to heck Superfly for making us wait an intolerable amount of time...
