You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to The Streets. Pre-schedule, he was my #3 must-see behind Radiohead and Gomez.
Honestly, I don't think there are too many people out there who can tell a story like Mike Skinner. In that respect, I put him up there with Dylan (but note, there's a difference between storytelling and songwriting).

I'm definately very excited about their set. A little curious as to what their stuff will sound like live though. When they were first announced I couldn't imagine them playing at any time other than late night (figured they'd end up in that latenite hip-hop tent) - so I'm a little bummed at their time slot, but oh well.
i'm quite excited myself. i've not got my schedule quite so planned out as a lot of folks, but this show is still definitely pretty close to the top of my loosely thrown together list.
i also got kind of excited today when (i guess for the first time ever) i put my copy of original pirate material in my computer and a thing popped up with three videos (not that they were anything particularly special, but still a nice little surprise).
Unfortunately, I dont think that the new album is as good as the other two. Just my opinion on limited listenings. But with a 1.5 hour set he should be able to play plenty from all three of the albums.
i hear he's pretty good live. i guess it depends on who he has with him. i hope he has that guy that sings a lot on his cd's. "has it comes to this oh, oh, oh, oh!"
He is pretty good live, not best hip-hop show ever good, but still very entertaining. His last tour he had some live instrumentation, and had that guy that sings along on his CDs.

I am very much looking forward to The Streets but that time slot on Sunday presents my biggest schedule conflict for the weekend: The Streets v Son Volt.
I think I will end up seeing about the first 30 minutes of The Streets then on to Son Volt.
