Welcome, Jess! And let me be the latest to say: hippienaustin I love, love, LOVE your haircut! Beautimous.
Did some looking at Target yesterday and saw a really pretty smocked sundress in an orange paisley sort of print. Only $20. The BF told me to go ahead and try it on, but: (a) oh, so broke right now; and (b) it's orange (not exactly a popular color), so I'm going to bank on a sale. Here's hoping!
thank you so much!! ;D
and i think i know the dress you're talking about. i saw it too. they had the same one in purple and cream, but nshvllbound already bought that one.
I bought the orange and the purple printed ones already - I could not resist! LMAO. Go Target!

There SHOULD be pudding wrestling at roo. I think if each person brought a package, we'd have plenty! How funny would we look each emptying our one package into a kiddie pool or something?
Hey, I've also been lurking for a while and decided to make an account. Ironically, my name's also Jess and this is going to be my first time at roo haha. Sorry to steal your thunder as the newbie, jessperry =P

Ha! We should have an "I'm wearing my paisley Target sundress" meetup at the 'Roo, one day!
LOL - we should! Can you imagine the herd of girls all in the same dress wandering around? I'm sure it would confuse a few people in the right state of mind...LOL

by the way i am Katie
it doesn't have to be a challenge!
old navy has really cute dresses in plus sizes, and my new favorite store is www.torrid.com . i know its a long thread, but if you search back a few pages, there's lots of options for those of us with larger builds

hey dresses work for everyone no matter your size, not that anyone at bonnaroo cares, but if your worried about being able to wear and hide a supportive bra don't be... no one really cares if they see a-little bra, but you can alwyas do like my friend pam and wear a wide strapped tank top under your dress
^^ I know, I wanna see her new hair and her interview is at 2 she said today.. I hope she gets the job!!!!
ditto!! i bet she looks adorable, though. i'm sure they'll love her!
How could they not love her? We do! Hope she posts a pic, soon. Although, pretty obvious she's been busy today.

Have a feeling that, depending upon who has been partaking of what, a bunch of girls wandering by in the same dress could have a pretty curious effect!

yes, welcome Jess2 & Katie!!!! It has been deemed that we are mostly a friendly bunch, and I stated that we engaged in intellectual and stimulating conversations, and people did some major lol-ing.
Uh...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, That Grrl! For some reason, the system wouldn't let me get a PM to you yesterday.
Thank you, Sassbox! I'm a nice old 44, now. Although, I hid my b-day from the boyfriend. He knows it's in March and keeps badgering me to 'fess up. He'd totally tease me about it, since he's younger than I am. But thanks for the good wishes!
Oh, and almost forgot. My cowboy hat came from eBay. I love it!

okay, I figure my girls would give me the best advice on this perhaps.
I have this patch of dry, discolored skin between my breasts. I'm so self conscious about it, but I've tried scrubbing it in the shower and applying lotions.
I haven't wanted to wear any of my low cut shirts for this problem, but I know going to the dermatologist is going to be expensive.
Does anyone know what this might be & how I can get rid of it?! My boyfriend thinks I'm over obsessing, but it's driving me crazy!!!

hmm it could be a number of things, but for now, while you cant go to the derm, i suggest this:
its almost like a vaseline, but it cures my dryest patches, my dryest part of my lips and heals as well. you can get it in any drug store

I have an extremely dry apartment so I have been using lotion from LUSH. Specifically, the Handy Gurugu
