Welcome, Jess! This is kinda exciting to have a newbie in our midst...it seems like most of us on this thread have been through this before, so it'll be fun to have a new person that we can help out!
it was comforting seeing things like rainforest cafe, the source, and roosevelt field earlier in the thread... lol, as corny as that sounds.
lol not corny at all. i always get excited when i see someone from NY or the tri-state area in general. I'm originally from Nassau, too. I used to live in Uniondale.

welcome to the boards jess!!! All of us here were newbies at some point in time, so need to feel embarrassed or anything!
I love inforoo so much because there are so many intelligent, stimulating conversations going on, and everyone is so nice and friendly for the most part.
Plus you get insights from people all over the nation.. sometimes even the world!

hey hey now, even though a lot of the threads aren't both intellegent and stimulating, doesn't mean they're not stimulating. take the sex thread for instance ;D
I would love to wrestle in pudding. How many cups would we have to bring?
this is a little bit off topic of roo maybe but.....the bass pro shop at the opry mills mall in nashville has a lot of clothing marked down. i didnt realize that they h ad cool clothing. (i thought it might be a bit "square") they have small sizes too. most all of their fall and winter stuff is reduced and its name brand stuff (look like good quality) i got a CUTE all season green cargo skirt on clearance. i could even wear that to roo. i also got the CUTEST PINK long johns. they are sorta short and fitted so you could wear them under a long skirt or capris. they look like childrens until you put them on. they come wrapped in a cute little fabric wrapper. im going to get some for gifts next year.
they also have a ton of shorts for spring - the cool kind with the pockets.
if you go out there dont forget to check out the clothing - i was sure surprised!!!
Welcome, Jess! And let me be the latest to say: hippienaustin I love, love, LOVE your haircut! Beautimous.
Did some looking at Target yesterday and saw a really pretty smocked sundress in an orange paisley sort of print. Only $20. The BF told me to go ahead and try it on, but: (a) oh, so broke right now; and (b) it's orange (not exactly a popular color), so I'm going to bank on a sale. Here's hoping!
^^^I was just about to post about this. Target has some new amazing sundresses and summer tops in. My will power barely made it yesterday, and I have to back today. It's rough being a girl.
