Thanks! I'm such a bag snob that I didn't even think about trying Target. But, I wanted something inexpensive and useful. I went to Target and found two great crossbody bags. Thanks again!!!

Quick question for you girls... I plan on wearing a dress or skirt everyday, which means I'll be wearing bike shorts everyday. I only have 2 pair right now, and don't really want to spend a lot on more since I almost never wear them in normal life. I've looked everywhere, but the cheapest I can find are like $20. Which I think is way too much. I figure I need 2 more pairs at least, does anyone know where I can find some? Thanks =)

I found mine at Meijer $12.99 buy 1 get 1 half off.

Maybe this is a stupid question but why do you need to wear bike shorts under dresses?

I guess not everyone does, but I don't want The Inner Thigh Chaffe that I've heard about. Sweat + dirt + walking a lot. Sounds scary.

I got some at Target for 10 dollars. They aren't biker shorts, they're just running shorts. They're short, though, so you can't see them underneath dresses (I've tested this theory many times over, trust) and they definitely prevent chafe-age. Get some Body Glide!!! Trust me, it works! It's like $10 but well well worth the money!!! I used to have a problem with "The Chafe" but I tried Body Glide last year at Roo and I did not chafe at all. My two friends that went with me used it too and neither of them chaffed either. If you're nervous about it just carry a pair of your bike shorts in your bag. That's what I did but I never had to wear them. (I know they sell it at Dick's Sporting Goods because that's where I bought mine.)
Thanks for letting us know...just bought some Body Glide online!! Hopefully I won't need my shorts (but still taking 'em just in case...
Victoria's Secret always has cute dresses, also. I got one of them last year and it's held up really well. The only downside is seeing a lot of people with the same dress...but, oh well. It's comfortable, cute, and practical.

I've seen other people talk about body glide, but I wasn't sure if it actually worked. Thanks for the tip =) I wasn't exactly looking forward to wearing tight shorts all day.

Thanks so much for the link... They didn't have these at my local Target, definitely ordering a pair.
Got my first Bonnaroo dress for this year! Super excited even though it's a little longer than I would like-- the sides drag on the ground a little bit. I'm also worried about it being a little warm so it might end up being an evening dress.
Have any of you worn Earth Spirit shoes from Walmart?
I tried these on last week and they seemed super comfy and perfect for $18 but thought I would get some opinions. Last year I just wore cheap but comfy clogs from Walmart and those did a good job.
^^^BODY GLIDE IS MY BEST FRIEND AT ROOOOOO! Do it. Im also a fan of Gold Bond, but I find that at Roo, I have issues applying the GB, and I have powder all down the inside of my legs... NOT attractive when wearing mega-cute skirts/dresses.
Alllll you ladies have the cutest dress pics on here!!! I may have to do a Roo Fashion show for myself (....it is about that time isnt it???) and post a collage of my fav pics for all you ladies approval! ...yes now that I think about it - it IS Roo Fashion Show time! Totally did this last year. After mem day, consider it done.
And, if any one wants buttons pre-Roo, now is the time for me to send them out, otherwise you'll have to be at the Brunch, or find me in the crowd!! If anyone wants, just PM me your address and if you want white or green!

I actually bought these a while back to try out for 'Roo & I love 'em I've worn them a good bit to get them broke in & They're awesome! They're soo comfortable, they don't hurt my feet at all & they stay on well (I'm always stepping out of my flip-flops, haha!)

Awesome! I'll probably go pick them up today then!
I know I just posted a dress last night but I'm soooo excited because I went shopping today and got 3 dresses for under $30 total!!
$10 at Wet Seal
$10 at Wet Seal ... It was a spaghetti strap dress but it looked kinda weird so I cut the straps and turned it into a halter.

For you ladies who use Body Glide.. do you find that you have to reapply throughout the day? Or can you just swipe some on in the morning and be chafe-free for the majority of the day?
Hey all! I went to Ross yesterday and found two fabulous Roo dresses, only $12.99 each! Hooray! So I have a dress for each day of Roo - technically I am all finished with clothes shopping (lets see how that goes).
The brand She's Cool has a TON of Roo-worthy dresses at Ross - cute prints and cool cotton. I got a maxi dress from them that has adjustable straps and think I can easily get away sans bra in it. Has a padded bodice so it gives shaping and some nip coverage.
Also re: the bike shorts - I only have two pairs and honestly, it has been enough for two Bonnaroos. I wear undies underneath so they don't get too grody, and they are moisture-wicking material so they don't get all soggy.

What do you girls wear at night? Jeans and a shirt? I know I'll probably want to change into something else for night time but I've never been so I dunno what would work best.

I have changed into jeans or a lightweight pair of pants - last time ('08) I took the cheapy drawstring linen pants from Victoria's Secret. I wore a tank and hoodie with it. I can remember being cold sometimes and hot other times. At Peark Jam I was FREEZING and wore my husband's windbreaker and a shawl around my neck over the sweatshirt. But other times the hoodie is around my waist or bungeed to my backpack.

I usually will just bring a jacket or a sweatshirt and be just fine. And especially once you get into the tents and into the large crowds of people. You warm right up.
