Do the gates close at night?

Once the gates open, do they ever close to incoming traffic?

The reason I ask is that we're probably going to arrive about 3:00 AM Friday morning. Anyone see any potential problems?

i doubt it... they should be open.

oh yes they do -and unfortunately I know about this firsthand - the main gate; the one with the toll booths was locked up tigher than a drum last year on Saturday

I had lost my KOA wristband and was forced to walk all the way around the perimeter back to KOA- the front gate was bolted shut and I had to climb over. A guy wanted to leave and was being told by security that it would be a couple hours before someone would be there to open the gate.

Also FWIW there were random people climbing in -

So, I guess that's the official word, but it makes me a little nervous.......

We did day parking last year, so we drove in on both Friday and Saturday with no problems.

Rereading your email - I don't think you have anything to worry about - there will be lots of folks still streaming in. And while the main gate off the interstate was locked on Saturday afternoon; I guarantee that some gates are always open.
