Inforoo Brunch 2024
As far as I know, many of the typical organizers will not be at Roo this year. So as opposed to this being a "here's the firm plans" style thread, this is a place to plan so we can make sure it happens this year.
Typically it's on Friday late morning/early afternoon and I think we should keep it there.
The biggest thing to plan is location. If you think your campsite would be big enough and willing to host a dozen or so inforoosters, hit me up.

I’m hoping to be there, but it depends how easy it is to get from Area 931 to brunch. Was the JamTrak more reliable in 2023 than it was in 2022? I want to catch some combination of 49 Winchester/Mdou Moctar/Bonny Light Horseman/Larkin Poe to start the day on Friday.

i've been lifting a lot and am going to be so jacked for this. everybody talking shit and i'm going to show up with my big ole biceps and everybody will be scared because i'll be able to hit so hard with my strength.
I'm never coming to brunch, I cannot abide by the blatant hooliganism encouraged by you all.
We'll be able to host in RV, I'll ask the campmates to supply 100% of the food and alcohol. We'll have fried oysters and flounder and french bread to make poboys, complete with pickles and tartar sauce, and a full liquor bar with bartender. We'll also have a barista and a coffee bar for postjack or anyone else who would prefer espresso based beverages. Hope y'all are OK with several comfortable couches to sit on because we'll have several comfortable couches to sit on and fans blowing.
I missed Brunch in 2022 because of the storm. I missed brunch in 2023 because Kingvamp gave me bad directions. Me and Cousin Thomas will try again this year.

Wednesday is not a problem for most people at Roo but yeah whatever helps you sleep at night. Most people are experienced and know how to rest during the day to ensure they have energy for Teddy's Wednesday DJ set. You have stated what is effectively a non-issue
Wow if Posty joins the peppas the set will be good. Maybe since JOhn FRusciante is back I haven't seen them with john frusicante so i'm looking forward to it.

But that begs some important questions, such as: Does being banned from Brunch preclude one from participating in the Ferris Wheel Fistfights? Is Brunch attendance required for participation in the Ferris Wheel Fistfights? If challenged at Brunch, is a person required to participate in Ferris Wheel Fistfights? As there a Fistfight preliminary card, occurring at Brunch or elsewhere?

no thread for it but on Wednesday night, Camp Tranter will host a Tranter meet-and-greet, autograph signing, etc. Teddy will also do his little DJ set. Timing depends on WITW schedule.

Well, I guess I'm officially going to make it to Roo this year. I was talking to the lady who I bought my bread route from a couple years ago and she offered to cover me, like she did the last two years. I wasn't going to ask because she's had some serious health issues and is enjoying semi-retirement, but she knows I need a vacation and she and her husband are trying to talk me into buying his route, too, and I'm lucky, apparently.
We've got a whole group coming, mostly younger, but we need some new blood so I'll try to get them all to come to brunch. Explaining this whole deal will be the hard part, but my constant blabbering about Bonnaroo has made believers out of the ones I converted last year. Anyway, I've brought some food and beer before, but I think I can get more involved now. So I'll help however I can, and if cincinnasti or whomever is taking the lead need anything, let me know, and I'll try. We won't have an RV or a big budget but we'll be well-equipped and willing.
