Let’s make a song EP / mixtape!
I would like to make an inforoo music project. If you play guitar, drums, bass, keys, banjo, sing, rap, etc and have a way to record yourself, let it be known in this thread! If you write lyrics, poetry, can make artwork, mix / master, you are much desired as well. Anything you are capable of doing that can contribute to this would be much appreciated.
No boundaries or limits. Rap, rock, jazz, harsh noise, who cares!
I am not sure what the interest will be but I want to have as many unique projects as possible with not too many people on one track (a too many cooks situation).
Pair up with some people in this thread and get to work on a song! I can assign people to groups if needed as well. If you need help with the technical aspect, I can be of assistance as well.
I do all the things music production wise and would love to take a back seat or maybe work as someone to put it all together. I also have many rough drafts that could be used as a starting point

Bass is my main instrument (20+ years) but I also play some guitar and keys, have recording and production gear and a large collection of free and paid VSTs.

I play guitar, bass, keys, and drums - not really set up to record drums live, but I know my way around drum track programming in Logic Pro and Ableton. Also sing, although I'm fairly rusty on that front.
I'm not made of free time these days, but it'd be cool to have something to work on, musically.

Neat idea! I play guitar (rhythm, don't ask me to solo), rap half-decently, and my singing ranges from "Hey that sounded pretty good" to "oof" depending on the day. I love working with words though, and would especially love to contribute as a lyricist.

So I don't have the stems because I use a NI Maschine, which is basically an MPC BUT I do have all the files in WAV form. that I usually backup to the cloud, give me another day or two and I'll get you some things to play with. Um also if you find one stem/instrument, beat part that you are interested - I have all of the projects that are on Soundcloud that are of the last 3 years. I can easily solo one area and give you that.
