Unless something changes on the schedule, there is a little bit of Noah Kahan's set remaining after three six mafia. i imagine many of you will be heading over to Fleet Foxes to sway gently to their spacious and pleasant melodies, but for those who aren't, please join me at what will no doubt be a dangerously overcrowded That Tent to hear what Noah will obviously close the set with, his 2022 hit with over 140 million spotify plays that peaked at 14 on the Billboard 200 "Stick Season".
it will be a celebration of the dumb noah meme we've been doing plus a celebration of inforoo itself and life itself as well.
we'll sing along to the chorus.
we won't be able to get inside that tent, so lets just meet way outside of it. i'm thinking up near the spicy pie booth if that is still in the same place, north of the tent.

need it to be somewhere outside the crowd because just saying "i'll see you at the set" never works, and we will not be able to get inside that tent no matter how much blood we shed or how many bones we break.

sure, it's like when someone promises you are more than all the miles combined, but they must have had themselves a change of heart, like, halfway through the drive. Because their voice trailed off exactly as they passed your exit sign, they kept on driving straight and left your future to the right. now you are stuck between your anger and the blame you cannot face. Memories are something even smoking weed cannot replace. You're terrified of the weather cause you see them when it rains. your doctor told you to travel but there's COVID on the planes!
and you love vermont but it's the season of the sticks. you saw their mom she forgot that you exist. it's half your fault but you like to play the victim and drink alcohol until your friends come how for Christmas. You dream each night of some version of them that you might not have, but you did not lose, now you're tire tracks and one pair of shoes, and you're split in half but htat'll have to do, ooh, ooh.

Quick issue with your chosen location. If we're coming from Three 6, Which is to the south, so we would have to go through the entire crowd to get to that spicy pie booth

true. but you could go the long way around by This and Other, a longer walk but typically a less crowded pathway. or cut through the fountain through the Roo World area or whatever it's called.
i think one way or another the meetup spot has gotta be north or northwest of That Tent. Maybe those picnic tables northwest of that tent. i think west, southwest, and south will be solid crowds.
Let’s be honest, no one is going to be at glorious Fleet Foxes so even if I send it for Stick Season I’ll still get under the tent without any bloodshed. Just miss a few FF songs. Jk idk if I can do it either but danggg I want to meow :/

nah it should be fairly thin that far back. Plus gives us the advantage of a direct path to This for Fleet Foxes, and a really solid view of the screens

I take no pleasure in reporting this, but he actually doesn't perform Stick Season anymore. Some excerpts from a 2021 Kerrang! interview:
"I seemed to be living out the same four and a half minutes of my life over and over again. It was incredibly stultifying."
"It's like it's not my song any more ... It feels like I'm doing a cover."
"People have defined my emotional range with that one song, 'Stick Season'. I saw reviews of 'Northern Attitude' that said it was just like 'Stick Season'. When you're up against things like that, it's like: 'Fuck you.' These people are never going to listen."
The interviewer kept asking about it and Noah became increasingly agitated until finally smashing his water glass over the interviewer's head and storming out. Honestly kinda soured me on him a bit. Hope he still plays it though.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
