I'm sticking with the Rangers winning the series and if Montreal can win tomorrow I have full faith they pull the comeback. This doesn't really matter though because the Hawks are winning the Cup.

Going to be a great end to the ECSF this week. Ducks will finally get a true test in the playoffs against the Hawks. Yes they've been playing well but haven't truly been tested against the Jets and Flames. The Blackhawks are built for the playoffs and Crawford played great in this series.
Rangers- Caps on Wed is gonna be a lot of crazy fun
My heart can't handle it. 9-0 at MSG in Game 7's
I can't take it either, I've lost years off my life these last couple games. The Rangers have been unstoppable in Game 7s and the Caps have blown so many series leads in the Ovechkin era, but still I just think the Caps are gonna come out flying. Hopefully the Rangers can get it done, it has been a great series. Also I think Tampa wins it tomorrow night coming back home, unless Price just steals it for Montreal.
It was a good year. Maybe a couple improvements can be made.
We have about 3-4 more years of Carey Price in his prime. It has to happen now, or it never will. That said, if a Canadian team wins the cup ever again, it will either be Montreal or Efmonton, and I say Montreal wins before Edmonton does.

Some work to be done tho.
I'd argue that this was the best chance for Montreal to win the cup in the past few years. Not winning it this year is a failure. Edmonton on the other hand will need a few years to develop but in the long wrong could become a playoff team. Price has led Montreal this far and have a good chance making it back next year

it's only the first of a few years Montreal has to win. Our window is now open, and will remain open during Carey Prices peak years (4-5 left at best). Our key players are all still signed with no big contracts to hand out. Galchenyuk and Petry are the only ones we need to sign this off season, Petry being the only one really deserving of a large bump in pay. I figure Galchenyuk gets a 2 year bridge contract to prove his worth. Other than that, Pacoretty, Gsllagher, Eller, Pleksnec, Subban and Price are all still signed up until 2016-17 at the very least, and Plekanec the only one above the age of 27. This will go down as a good learning experience, and a clear indicator that Bergiven needs to add a few pieces to legitimize the Habs as a true cup contender. We got the regular season figured out, now to get some playoff performers...

Didn't expect Rangers to get the win as few opportunities as they were providing themselves with but overjoyed by the fact that they did. I hope they will simply outclass Tampa Bay and be rested up for the series which is certain to be a big challenge: the Stanley Cup finals.
I'm just happy the Hawks are playing today finally. It feels like it's been forever since I've watched a game. It's great they're well rested I just hope it's not a momentum killer.

Looks like they had the opportunities but couldn't finish. Maybe due to feeling rusty?

The defense was really lacking. Hopefully they pull it together, they're making me nervous!
im gonna say undisaplined play perhaps. Tampa scored the most goals in the regular season. 1 short handed goal along with 3 pp goals. Nobody will beat Tampa if they give them 6 pp in a game. Habs fell into the same trouble with them. Good luck
Yeah, that was a pretty shocking development. Sounded like it was locked in that he was going the Sabres. I guess it just makes those Leafs games that more fun.
MLSE and the Pegulas are building themselves a rivalry between the Bills and Babs...
Bummed about Babcock not coming to Buffalo, but at least he'll get time off in the spring for a long time in Toronto.
Shanny just cleaned house and hired the best hockey coach in the world, with promises of cleaning up the roster. Babcock will most certainly have a say in who is hired as the GM for the leafs, and with that, the leafs can only get better. They already have a great core of young, extremely talented defencmen, which is always a primary key of any rebuild. Don't be shocked if you see the leafs package a deal to get the 2nd overall pick in the draft. And even if they don't, they're still in decent shape moving forward. I wont say they make the playoffs next year, but i also wouldn't count them out.
