I have no idea what sort of conversation is going on in here, so I apologize if I'm completely interrupting.
But I wanted to pop in and share that I'm on vacation for the next 4 weeks, so guess who's back in the smoking game! YAY!! It's been too long, got an eighth of medical grade "girl scout cookie" and it's amazing. The kind you just have to admire for a moment. It feels good to be back.
Good to have you back
I love Girl Scout Cookies of all kind...edible and smoke-able.
Meee tooo! I'm not sure anything can compete with frozen thin mints.
Is there any easy way to make the hash oil at home? I need a sneaky-ish way to indulge at club shows, and I can't roll for crap - stick me on a desert island with unlimited weed and rolling papers, and I'll be fashioning bamboo chillums and coconut bongs. I already make a damn fine edible (as many a 2012 Quack Clubber can attest), so I think I'd be alright at this.
Anyone ever partake of a Volcano? My uncle has one of these that he busts out after our weekly dinners. This is now my preferred method of smoking - it's so smooth, but it can still knock you on your ass. The Rolls Royce of vapes.
It actually can be relatively easy to make some concentrates at home. Look for methods called "QWET" (Quick Wash Ethanol), much easier and safer then using butane. PM me if you want some more info, have collected a bit of knowledge about it
If you take your concentrates a step further, you can even use them in regular e-cig equipment. That's what I take with me for travel/concerts now. Doesn't look like a standard vape pen for concentrates, because it literally is regular e-cig equipment. No one will pay you a second notice.
And yes, a Volcano is quite a pleasant experience as well. As nice as the Volcano is though, it's been surpassed these last few years by some new contenders. It will always have a place in the vaporizer pantheon though, it was a driving force in bringing them mainstream with high precision and quality.
For the new top of the line vaporizers, check out the VapeXhale Cloud EVO or The Herbalizer. I have an EVO and have used a Volcano fairly extensively. In my opinion, the EVO is definitely a step above the Volcano. I have yet to try an Herbalizer, but I've heard nothing but good about it. Quality vapes can be had for half the price of those though, just depends on what you're looking for/willing to spend.
Meant to share this earlier, but if people are looking for something to clean their glass, check out PBW by Five Star
PBW stands for Powdered Brewery Wash, it's what brewers use to clean out their kettles/lines/equipment.
This stuff is AMAZING. You just put a small amount (a teaspoon or two) in your glass and add hot water. That's it. Just let it sit for 10ish minutes and then rinse it out. Your glass will be sparkling like it's brand new. No shaking involved, just use very hot water (be sure and slowly warm your glass up so you don't thermally shock it and crack it!). I've never seen glass look so clean as after a PBW wash. Kicks the shit out of iso alcohol/salt, or any other cleaning method/solution I've tried.
And seriously, no shaking at all. Have a difficult piece to clean with lots of nooks and crannies? This will take care of it. It's basically OxiClean and some other things, so the bubble action inside "scrubs" everything clean. And no shaking means no chance of breaking your glass in the sink or accidentally dropping it.
This stuff is also amazing at cleaning other surfaces too. My bathtub had this weird discoloration to it that I could not remove after much time scrubbing. Two quick soaks in this stuff and it's gone! Through some in your dish washer and it cuts through the hard water stains/scum.
Already went through my first pound, ordering some more! If you just use it to clean glass, a pound will last you a lifetime. I went through so much for the soaks on my bathtub.

Know anything about the Extreme Q? Heard it's good, but not sure how good.

I've never personally used an Extreme Q, so I can't comment specifically on it. I have however, used Arizer's V-Tower (older model) for a bit. Got it for my dad a few years ago. I enjoyed it at first, but after a month or so, my use of it definitely dropped off. Just felt like I wasn't getting as much out of the bud as I should. I know it's currently sitting in my dad's cabinet. Might need to see if I can borrow it sometime just to test it out again. Unsure whether my experience with the V-Tower was something I was doing, or if the unit wasn't performing as it should. It's been a while, so I'd definitely go into it again with an open mind.
That said, I know there are a lot of people who like the Extreme Q quite a bit, it's definitely worth researching.
What sort of price range are you looking at? How do you plan to use the vaporizer (by yourself, small groups, large parties, everything in between, etc)? Do you like vaporizers with bags, whips, glass? What are your priorities (ease of use, efficiency, massive clouds, etc)?
There really isn't one perfect vaporizer for everyone, it just depends on what you're looking for.
Check out the website Fuck Combustion. If you have word filters on, it's not Quack Combustion. That is by far, the BEST resource online for vaporizers. Fair warning there is tons of info on there, so it can take a bit to sort through...but there is tons of info!
Some vaporizers to definitely look into: Extreme Q, HerbalAire, E-Nano, Underdog, HI (Heat Island), or of course the Cloud EVO or Herbalizer is you want to spend a little more.
Good luck. Once you make the switch the full vaporization, it's hard to go back. The taste is worlds better, as is the high using less bud.

Thank you very much, I wasn't planning on buying anything immediately, just doing some preliminary research.
The thing to remember is that due to the vagaries of cosmic transit, accurate understanding of "time" is made - immaterial at most - and quantifiably immeasurable at least.

No problem, glad to help. And that's definitely the right approach (lots of research). The vaporizer market has exploded these past 3-5 years, there are tons of options out there. Pretty much all vaporizers will have pros and cons, you just have to find what's right for you.
Thankfully, with recreational use being legalized, it's becoming easier for vaporizer developers to get funding. It takes a lot of R&D to make some of the vaporizers on the market right now.
Just made a small test batch of special sea salt caramel. Taking them to my father - who is terminal cancer patient - Wed. If I didn't live in such a backward ass state I could easily start a side business making goodies. But - man oh man - little bit of tasting during the process and all I want to do now is listen to Pat Metheny and stare at the rain LOL

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
