I'm fairly confident that he's not doing any of that stuff.
I'm fairly confident he just referred to a tweet I made in July of 2010. (Making me fifteen at the time) And has previously refered to Facebook statuses as far back as 2007 (Making me thirteen)
Since when is "Browsing someone's public twitter account, which contains hilarious racism, homophobia, awful music opinions, etc" considered an obsession?
And I doubt anyone's reading your facebook. Unless you're careless enough to make that public, as well?
Holy shit. Are you the one that's been sending me those weird text messages too?
What the fuck are you talking about?
Well, you have demonstrated many times before that you are well versed in my social media platforms. Jones just made it quite clear that you guys are going through my stuff again. My phone number is on my Facebook page. I have been getting weird text messages about once a month. Is it crazy to think that you guys are the guys responsible for sending me these messages?

Don't flatter yourself there, buddy - I ain't checking out shit. And yes it's crazy to think I'm texting you.
Almost as insane as accusing an 18 year old of contacting someone at their place of work and harassing them, isnt it?
Considerably more insane than that. Is your phone number really public for any goon to see? Maybe you should resolve that before throwing around baseless accusations.

I do not think its you texting me. Never said I did.

My phone number is public on my facebook so people can get in contact with me when they need me.

I want to be clear on this because I'm being accused of some fairly heinous shit: I was just accused of prank calling(?) somebody based on the following evidence:
-I posted some of his racist tweets last year -He apparently publicly broadcasts his phone number on facebook for God and everyone to see -I posted a beavis and butthead image
Obviously, I am Not Guitly and, as I said, i want to be very clear on that point.
You may now carry on with general hip-hop discussion

Liar. You posted two Beavis and Butthead images. This individual obviously cannot be trusted.

Ok, back on topic. I really like J.cole's newest album Forest hills drive. We need THAT type of Hip hop/Rap. That Sample heavy stuff i think. The Rap not hip hop, thats being thrown out here lately isnt very good lyrically. Its all Hot beat and Hook. Look at Versache' by migos. Im glad Roo gave us Atmosphere this year. Its real talk.
Because it's weak and terrible. Drake needs to stay in his lane and stop trying to put out this lonely gangster image or whatever the fuck it is. Stop spraying invisible choppers in your videos and feuding with dudes who would punch your teeth into next week. Stay saving women from themselves and flossing about how you made it.
Meek Mill isn't any better, mind you.
I kind of agree with you, which is why I think the track works. If he would have tried to sound any harder than he did it would have sounded corny as hell, like every other time drake talks about "catching bodies" and shooting invisible guns. The track sounded like a calm and collected "You guys are cute". I think ignoring him completely would have worked better, but this was a close second in my opinion. No need to go crazy over some baseless accusations.

Dr. Dre has formally announced details of his new album, Compton A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre, which serves as the soundtrack to the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton. And with it comes the tragic announcement that Dre’s long-awaited LP, Detox, has officially been canceled.
“I didn’t like it. It wasn’t good,” Dre said of Detox, which had been in the works since 2001. “The record, it just wasn’t good … I worked my ass off on it, and I don’t think I did a good enough job.”
Instead, Dre focused his efforts on Compton, which features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and others. It will be released on August 7th, and not August 1st as previously reported, through Apple Music. Pre-orders are ongoing. The artwork and tracklist can be found below.
How? I went in with sky high expectations and it blew those away
I think Compton is more exciting than it is great. It's fun to hear Dre actually rapping on some tracks again, and the production is pretty excellent (if a little one note at times), but this album really, really suffers from the inclusion of way too many features from Anderson Paak and Justus. They're just background noise, honestly. If Dre was going to have so many goddamn features, I wish he would have cut back on the obvious attempts at establishing new cash cows, and instead featured people who work more with his sound. Why not a verse or two from Kurupt? Some of the younger LA MCs would have worked, too - Jay Rock, YG, etc. Or, if anything, feature more of Jon Connor, who is actually a dope MC.
Fair enough. I agree with you there. I was so hype on Kendrick, Snoop, Cube Xzibit, and Em (and Dre of course) all having really killer verses that I sort of glossed over it on first listen. I didn't mind the Paak and Justus too much, but I definitely think the album would've gained more than it lost by cutting a few.
What do you mean by one-not? At first I was tempted to say it was overproduced, but as the album progressed the production clearly became the focal point for me. Loved how he toyed with all the new trends but it never didn't sound like Dre (save for the 2nd or 3rd track, but that was still really good on its own).
But you may very well be right. At the moment I'm beyond excited. I'm anxious to get ahold of the actual album to listen to each track a little more closely. Still don't think it'll fall off the radar as best hip-hop this year though.
Just after two listens I know I'll revisit this album more than TPAB.
Well, yeah. But TPAB is more of an important album than an enjoyable/listenable album, so that's to be expected.
Oh I agree with that. TPAB will be looked at as canon, but at the same time I feel like it's subject matter has been a reoccurring theme in hip-hop 2015. As important as it was, I just feel like it's release was a bit inflated - though that's probably the case for Compton as well.

After 1 listen I'm disappointed in the album if I look at it as Dr Dre's first album in close to 15 years, but it got me excited for the NWA movie. It's enjoyable, but every song sounds like it should be in a trailer for a Fast and Furious movie.

Who else had an album that was thematically similar to TPAB?
