"Rock the Bells have just revealed their initial 10th anniversary lineup. Inspired by Hologram 2Pac, the touring festival will feature "original virtual performances" by the late Eazy-E (with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony) and Ol' Dirty Bastard (with the Wu-Tang Clan).
Welcome to the future, where ODB reunites with the Wu-Tang Clan from beyond the grave.
Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler the Creator, Danny Brown, Black Hippy, Juicy J, Curren$y, Big K.R.I.T., Flatbush Zombies, Common, Hit-Boy, E-40 and Too $hort, Kid Cudi, Talib Kweli, Jurassic 5, Brother Ali, and more are also tapped to play the festival.
The tour will stop September 7-8 in San Bernardino, September 14-15 in Mountain View, September 28-29 in Washington, DC, and October 4-5 in Rutherford, New Jersey. More lineup announcements will be made next month."
I'm sure J5 will be touring in some capacity this year, so I wouldn't sweat it.
Also, this RTB lineup sucks dead ass.
Really sucks ass? Aside from the hologram shit I think it's a great start. Big Krit, Black Hippy, Common, Danny Brown, Dilated Peoples,E 40 & Too Short, Earl, Flatbush Zombies, J5, Rakim, Talib, Tyler, the Creator and Wu with 15 + go be announced is well worth it.

This year's hip-hop heavy Roo has got me jonesin' for some more. Some more Wu in particular. Thinking of hitting up the NY stop. Anyone done a real RTB before? I've only done a quasi-RTB, one of the shows that just had Nas/Lauryn Hill, no other acts. How's the vibe? Buncha annoying frat boys or some real fans? Just looking for a spot to appreciate real hip-hop and put my mothafuckin' W up.
