Damn, I'm late to the party on this one. Philly fans have gotten better over time, didn't have to install a jail and court inside the Linc. Shitty fans exist everywhere -- we just take the most crap because we show our disapproval in odd ways, which I don't condone. In my experience, its usually a visiting team fan acting like a dick who starts the problems (except for Pukemon, who Philadelphia has disowned and shipped back to New Jersey).
Oh, and it looks like Dynamite won the dick measuring contest. That was a fun couple of pages.

Go Browns!
MIAMI -- Cleveland Browns wide receiver Davone Bess has been arrested in Florida on charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer at an airport.
A sheriff's report stated Bess seemed to be "under the influence of an unknown narcotic." It also said the receiver was "looking through" the officer as they talked. Bess was "acting irrationally, dancing, singing with his pants repeatedly falling down," the report said.
At one point, Bess grabbed a cup of coffee that was not his and squeezed it, spraying coffee on the officer. Bess then took a "fighting stance" and the officer hit him on the leg with a baton. The report says Bess removed his shirt and stayed in the stance. He dropped to the ground when more officers arrived.
The arrest comes one day after Bess posted a photo on his Twitter page of a small package containing what appeared to be marijuana. The photo was later deleted. The team said Thursday it was aware of the photo and would deal with the situation internally. The Browns said Bess had "personal" reasons for missing the final two games, but shortly after he left the team a photo appeared on his Instagram account that showed him lighting what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette.

The Broncs will be a much better matchup against the Seahawks, assuming they win. As depleted as Seattle's receiving core is and as hot as the Niners are right now, they could very well lose. I couldn't see any way the Pats WR's could match up against the Legion of Boom.
I have 37 people in my house and an entire NFL game left to go and I'm already drunk. Thank God for Mrs. Lucien and warm enough weather for kids to play outside right now. Go 'Hawks.
I would love to hear the reasoning behind the Sherman-bashing.
Crabtree clearly said something to set Sherman off. And when your stat sheet looks like Sherman's yesterday (zero catches allowed, thrown at once, which was the game-deciding defensed pass that got picked off), you're allowed to talk. The guy is as good as it gets at the CB position. I spent years stroking it to Revis and this guy is just as good, if not better when you factor in his size.
I'm usually not one of those guys who brings up playing a sport, but when you make the play of your life, in the game of your life (up until that point), you are so juiced with adrenaline it's a wonder if you can even formulate a sentence. Throw in Sherman's trash-talking and competitive ways, the jawing with Crabtree (anyone who thinks Crabtree did nothing is just kidding themselves) and the stage it happened on? I don't see what's wrong with Sherman's antics. At all. Let the guy have his moment, they just won the biggest game in their franchise's history (I think beating a division rival in the conference championship is a bigger deal than their previous NFC Championship win).

What I love about the Sherman thing too is that people always bitch about on-field interviews and how pointless they are 'cause no one says anything, then Sherman gives us 30 seconds of pure entertainment and everyone bitches about that too.

The bottom line is, this is a game, and a very entertaining one at that, and Sherman did his part to make it more entertaining. Fox knew what they were doing. You don't seek out a guy like Richard Sherman immediately after the biggest moment of his life against his rival and expect him to give a calm and collected interview. We are talking about the same network that less than an hour before showed no less than 10 replays of a man's knee exploding to see how many people they could make puke in their living room.
