I'm not saying i agree, but I have had my only major complication involving police at a sporting event at a Dodgers game.
Okay, and I've attended seven Dodgers games and never had a single issue (except for their totalitarian way of preventing people from sneaking down to better seats in an empty stadium).
Umm, the news? Do your own research. Maybe you live under a rock or something but I've seen some crazy shit in the news pertaining to LA Dodgers/SF Giants fans alone. Punching a woman in the face is not even close to homicide, maybe it is in Canada?
I'm not from Canada, I'm from New York and currently live in Queens. Using "the news" as your research is just...splendid. I guess you watch news on a 24/7 cycle and have the blotters for all major sporting events funneled to you? No, of course you don't, so acting like "the news" is somehow going to keep you informed on every incident of fan violence in the country is just mind-numbingly stupid.
Yes, the Giants/Dodgers have had two highly publicized incidents, one leading to the unfortunate death of a player. That is not the only situation like that to happen across the country, if you need me to explain why something like that happening in the most populated state in the country gets more air time then you're even dumber than I previously thought.
BEAVDOG, everyone......BEAVDOG.
Again, I did not say it doesn't happen elsewhere, maybe your comprehension skills are lacking. I said it SEEMS like it happens more often with Cali fans. This is just MY perception. Yes, I watch the news. No, the news will not report every violent crime. They will however report incidents at public sporting events, especially in pro sports. So if somebody get killed at a pro sporting event, they will report it nationally.
I guess I should just be more PC for all the crybabies with sand in their vaginas. "Don't talk bad about my state or I'm gonna cry", hilarious. No wonder why our kids are so damn soft in this country.
American fans have zero idea of what truly unruly and crazy fans are like. Until the NFL or MLB has marauding gangs who get together almost strictly for the purpose of inciting violence with gangs who support other teams, none of this is shit compared to the English Premier League.
Soccer fans are insane. Wait a minute, I meant SOME soccer fans are insane. Wait, I meant all soccer fans are great, yep, that's what I meant.

Okay, for fuck's sake. YOUR perception is fucking dumb, it lacks any sort of research (and your "the news" backup does not count as research), and therefore will be called out over and over. Just because it's YOUR mindless, ignorant and baseless opinion, doesn't mean it can't be wrong. Opinions can be wrong.
You can blame the rest of us for your ignorance, if that helps, but it's still yours. You can either start making fact-based, logical and worthwhile statements, or you can keep being a brain-dead shitbrain whose every post is cringe-worthy. I don't personally care, but I'll continue to point out the hypocrisies in everything you post because you're an abrasive little twit with a high opinion of yourself.
I said ALL fan bases have idiots. I also said I don't think ALL Cali fans are crazy. I've just seen more crazy shit from Cali fans than any other fans. It seems like at least once a year somebody dies at a Cali sporting event. I RARELY hear that in any other location. I can pull up a ton of examples but it will never satisfy the masses. I never said it doesn't happen elsewhere, I just hear about it a LOT from Cali fans on the news.
I was really pulling for you on this one, but oh well.
Nothing in the article discussing the Denver v. San Diego game said who the perpetators were cheering for - in fact the game was in Denver and the police officer qouted in the article responded that it appeared to have nothing to do with game rivalries. But, you would have had to read and comprehend it, so I guess that's out.
I just figured that as a fan of the 'news' as an empirical source and one who has claimed to not enjoy doing research, I would help you out. If you are not even going to read the 'research' I prepared for you, I'm not sure what else I can do.
I went through the entire article, am I missing something?
DENVER — At least three people were stabbed in a parking lot at Sports Authority Stadium Field at Mile High after the Denver Broncos' game Thursday night. Police spokesman Steve Warneke said three males were stabbed, and a fourth may have been stabbed, but that person left the scene. Police have several people in custody and are not currently looking for other suspects. None had been formally charged as of just after midnight. Police say that the incident was called in at 9:55 p.m. Warneke said one person was initially in critical condition, but all are conscious and talking. Stadium Management Company issued an email stating that it is working with authorities. The Broncos lost 27-20 to the San Diego Chargers. The stabbing Thursday is just one of several recent incidents involving football fans. Earlier this month in Kansas City, Mo., a man died after an altercation in the Arrowhead Stadium parking lot during Kansas City's game against Denver. In September in San Francisco, a teenage fan suffered a concussion and a broken arm and nose at Candlestick Park after police say he was attacked during the 49ers' game against Indianapolis.
Maybe there was another link? Even if the officer said it didn't APPEAR to be game rival related, do you trust our fine officers? All I know for sure is it happened at a SAN DIEGO CHARGERS game.

Yep, you missed the entire other article I selected for your skull sessions, the one at the Denver-KC game.
So referring to the article that you did peruse, in the face of absence of proof for the silly generalization which you refuse to own up to, your first (and probably only?) instinct is to say this absence of proof IS proof, as those providing the account cannot be trusted; yet all the information in the 'news' research you conduct, most likely provided by those same untrustworthy LEOs is gospel, as long as it takes place in California sports stadiums.
Ok.
You can at least say thank you for gifting you with the 'research' that allowed you to prove your point using BEAVlogic.

Genius, I've already provided a few examples. I'm not going to undig every single altercation between Cali sports fans. This topic has been discussed on national platforms, not just my opinion. Even jfg108 provided a link that clearly states SAN DIEGO CHARGERS. At the bottom it discusses this as a trend at NFL games, one example they gave had to do with SAN FRANCISCO 49ers fans. How about the fan that was almost beaten to death a few years ago? There are plenty of examples, just because you're too pigheaded to agree doesn't make them false.

Wow, seriously? I said ONE OF YOUR ARTICLES have Cali fans involved. The proof in the article I used is in the headline, SAN DIEGO CHARGERS/ Denver Broncos game. Unless you or anybody else can prove it wasn't a fan, then the HEADLINE should be enough PROOF that fans had something to do with it. I mean, it did happen at a Cali sporting event right? Maybe somebody got lost going to the museum and got pissed so started stabbing people in the parking lot, who knows? Right? We can assume a lot of things but the article which YOU provided doesn't say anything about them not being fans.
Yeah, as a Philly fan, I've gotten pretty tired of people trying to tell me we have the worst fan base. I've had fans of every possible team/region try to tell me this. I just ignore it anymore.
Wait, but aren't you, as a Philadelphia sports fan, expected to throw batteries at fans from visiting teams? And punch retired Marines outside of a cheesesteak establishment? (Or is that last one just the hockey fans)
Here's some more proof of my theory about Cali fans. Is it coincadence that 5/10 fights had Cali fans involved? I left out the international soccer matches because of obvious reasons.
I went through the entire article, am I missing something?

Lol, I love how all the butt buddies love to chime in around here.

Holy shit. How about this. People fucking suck no matter where you live. Also you're saying "Cali fans" that's an entire fucking state. With multiple sports teams in different sports. Its simple math. More people=more incidents.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
Lol, I love how all the butt buddies love to chime in around here.
Glad we can add homophobia to your list of endearing qualities.
Oh no, it's the PC police, lol. How does this exactly make me a homophobe? I'm very liberal when it comes to how people live their lives. One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago is right in the middle of boys town, and I doubt any homophobes would be caught dead in that area. I just think it's cute how these guys feel the need to defend each others honor. Everybody on here know who they are, it's referenced plenty.

I used Cali fans because it involves a lot of their teams. I agree, more people = more incidents, but it's still more incidents. And yes, people suck everywhere.

Explain to me, and everyone, how referring to men as 'butt buddies' can be taken any other way than the hateful way you intended it. Of course, I know you won't, and I'm sure you have "lots of gay friends" with whom you trade this witty banter. I'm just not one of them. So knock it off. Simple, right?
No, don't try to justify it. Just knock it off.
And for the record, I'm pretty sure that Flanz & Larry Farnsworth and I have never interacted via posts on this or any board...so, wrong again.
Not that you will admit it; I'll just wait for more BEAVlogic that unequivocally proves you are not a homophobe, and that I should really just relax.

This x100. I think it extends outside the EPL though. My buddy got punched in the face for wearing the colors of the opposing team when he went to a Real Madrid game this year,

First of all I don't have prove anything to you. If you don't like what I wrote, too damn bad. I really don't care if you wanna make the term "butt buddies" a big deal, that's your prerogative.
I got an idea, why don't you and your lame friends get lives and quit worrying about what everybody posts on here.

I am amazed you take such umbrage over my response to your behavior; this can't be the first time in your life this has happened to you.
How do you get anything done between insulting strangers on a message board and hating so much?
Anyhoo, feel free to continue to show the rest of us the real beavdog.

Guy sitting behind us was cocked. Also a pervert, probably a sociopath. He was trying to be friendly with everyone around us, while also saying horrificly disgusting stuff about every woman around us to his buddy, including my sister, which everyone could hear. So when he tried to take a selfie of him and her I took his phone and threw it off the upper deck. Fucking Cali fans :-p

Again, I was having a bad day. Are you ever going to accept my apology?
