I've been suggesting Lonesome Dreams to everybody and their brother in the Now Playing thread. I found this band under pretty random circumstances like a week ago and have been pretty blown away by them since then. I think they'd be perfect for an afternoon tent set at Bonnaroo this year, as their sound reminds me a whole lot of early MMJ. It's for that reason as well that I think Inforoo should be all about this band. Chances are looking pretty decent since Bonnaroo just posted a video of the band playing at their office:
Here's the studio version of that song, and another song as well:

And agreed that they'd be a perfect Thursday band, and that they sound like an amalgamation of Fleet Foxes and early MMJ. So, so good. And perfect for Inforoo.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Thought you guys might like this. I already posted it in the Direct Confirmation thread too.
Just got this email from Lord Huron's manager:
"Hi Brandon, Thanks for the email and the support! I can't confirm whether they'll be playing the fest but there is a strong chance they will. Also, we are in the process of locking down a date in NYC in late February so stay tuned to the website for more info"

Finally gave the album an honest listen. I am totally on board. I agree with the other comparisons, but I can't help but want to add a little Local Natives to bands they remind me of.

Sounds like good news to me.
I love how some managers try to be cryptic, but they essentially just spill the beans anyways...
