There's still hope for Dave, guys. I only came around to the Beatles this year.
Let's turn this into a positive.
How did that happen and why?
One day it just clicked I guess. I was driving alone and found myself singing along loudly and realizing I like more of their songs than I thought
My previous dislike was largely based on memories of Yellow Submarine playing during hot and queasy car rides....leading young me to want to either barf or launch myself from the moving vehicle.

Did your parents dislike the Beatles? Do they like them? Why weren't you force-fed Beatles music at an early age.
Since I was not given a choice as to what music I liked or sports teams I rooted for, I'm just curious how this works.

They love the Beatles a lot, and they did force-feed it! Which is why I know all the lyrics to every song ever. But for some reason the bad memory pushed out the good. Being forced to listen to a song that psychedelic when I wasn't feeling well, over and over again, really stuck with me and created a negative association that took decades to break.

Interesting.
My mom used to sing "In My Life" (which is also my parent's wedding song) to me when I was a baby and couldn't sleep. Playing that song will have me go from a full-on rage to tranquil in about 6 seconds.
I'm sure the different ways that music was introduced helped shape how we looked at it growing up.
