THe Bright Light Social hour just messaged me on FB and said that they haven't been invited to play Roo this year so idt we'll see them on the farm...bummer. If anyone gets a chance to see them, I saw them open for Umphrey's this year and it was incredible..they said they'll be touring heavily this summer though which is awesome
It's interesting that people are just assuming that the lineup will drop on the 12th. I wouldn't be surprised in any way if it doesn't come until the 19th.
Just to add to the theory about the 12th, Ashley Capps B-day is also on the 12th this year. They would have more than one thing to celebrate that day if that is the case.

I wouldn't mind DMB in the least. Hello, sorry - I'm the new guy. Nice to meet you. Macca on Friday from what I've read and Bjork Saturday. I'd really look forward to just relaxing on Sunday with some classic DMB jams.
Mostly just an act I was hoping for, but I asked Shit Robot on their facebook if they were doing any US festivals, and they replied saying they don't know yet, and are still working on their new album.

This is a band I've really been hoping to see again. I also saw them open for Umphrey's at their Halloween show. They tore it up.
So looking at that Sasquatch lineup, I was wondering what the likeliness of Empire of the Sun coming to roo this year would be?? I know that theres source on someone WAYYYY earlier saying that they are a no-go but they didn't really decline going to roo, or is this typical of agents?
Music Midtown: 2011 Bonnaroo: 2012 - 2016 Forecastle: 2013 Rock al Parque: 2014 420 Fest: 2014-2018 Shaky Knees: 2015 - 2019, 2021 Seen tons of local shows since 2004.
I'm guessing just outside the top ten. I've seen them twice, their live performance goes over well in a large festival setting, they should definitely get a stage set.
Arctic Monkeys opened for Black Keys at the show they played at MSG (don't remember if they opened for them the entire tour). That was the year that the Black Keys were a pre-headliner at Roo.
I'd say Arctic Monkeys are in the 15-20 range. Maybe as high as 12?

Arctic Monkeys opened for the Black Keys in early 2012, while they were supporting El Camino. This was the Black Keys first stadium tour and right when they really cemented themselves as festival headliners.
Last time Black Keys were at Bonnaroo was 2011 when they were still finishing touring for Brothers, just before they reached their peak.

Yup, my bad, crossed streams there for a second.
I still say they'd be 15-20, but it looks like they won't even be there, so...
Just sent an email to Hundred Waters to get a digital download of their album, asked about Bonnaroo while I was at it, seeing as they're touring with Alt-J and playing Sasquatch. Got an answer along the lines of "we might just be there, we shall see", which gives me hope they'll be playing! This band is amazing, really recommend you check them out!
So what the hell is that Tumblr? Some bullsh*t fan page that doesn't have it's sh*t together enough to realize that the band to which it is dedicated COULDN'T POSSIBLY PLAY BONNAROO?
And yes, I know, planez. But there's no way this happens. They aren't playing Thursday night at Bonnaroo, and they're not going to play the 13th in Sweden, then somehow get to Tennessee and back in time for a date on the 16th in Denmark. Nor will they play the 14th then try to get to Sweden for the 15th. Tis' impossible.
I want to spam that Tumblr telling them how stupid they are.
Oh, weird. When I saw that on COS's page I thought it was their official website. When I saw that though, I remember thinking "aren't they in Europe?" They definitely won't be at Bonnaroo, assuming that is only a fansite.

Hundred Waters is fucking amazing. Got to see them at the opening of The Standard (a small venue here in St Aug roughly 300 cap) and they rocked the place hard.
