Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Cut Copy would be amazing. Their show is even more fun than you could imagine.
Cut/Copy live was like the closest thing I think I'll get to seeing New Order in their prime. It was an amazing synthpop experience, and I would love to see them LN at Roo.
But we need New Order as well. And Erasure. Or Yaz.
It seems to me that "we can't reveal that information" is a quasi confirmation. Yes? The way I see it if they aren't there, The band or management team wouldn't have a problem saying "no we won't be there". But if they're signed, They can't reveal anything... Sound reasoning? I'm not saying it is definitely a confirmation, just that there is reason for optimism when we get a response like that.

Agreed, I'm just being cautious because I won't be able to handle it if I'm expecting Cut Copy on the lineup and they aren't on it.
But I think they should go under quasi-confirmed, definitely. That's as much of a quasi-confirmation as Tame Impala was.

If you're referring to the Tame Impala e-mail screenshot on the Coachella boards, there was much better evidence that they'll be at Bonnaroo posted by a reliable poster in this thread a week or two ago that they took down pretty quickly.
Oh man, that brought back a nauseating memory. Freshman dorm room - dude had the smelliest Reebok hightops ever - couldn't even sleep unless we opened the window. Poured some Drakkar Noir into the shoes one night to see what would happen.
Yeah, what happens is you get the most disgusting scent I've ever smelled. I can still smell that combo whenever the old Drakkar gets mentioned.

Interesting, I had no idea. Thanks, glenn. I was thinking the other day that everybody sure seemed positive about Tame Impala despite the fact that it seemed kinda iffy to me. So this is good news.

Another possibility to consider is by giving a "non-answer" and leaving the door open to speculation could give the agents band a little extra buzz until they are eliminated by the official lineup. Plus I'm sure that many of you have bought an album or two in advance of the lineup.so by not ruling their band out, they could net them a few extra sales. Just a thought.
Wow, the confirmed/semi-confirmed names are great so far. Grizzly Bear, Tame Impala, Death Grips, Diiv, Purity Ring, Alt-J, and Father John Misty are all acts that I've wanted to see that I haven't been able to. I saw Japandroids last month and they were great.
If this keeps up, might have to change the name of the event to Boneroo because that's what I'm starting to get.
From a business standpoint, if the band I am in/represent WASN'T playing Bonnaroo, I would not want to lead people to believe that they may be there. That might make someone who is planning on going to one of our shows get a Bonnaroo ticket instead of a concert ticket. I doubt everyone in a band thinks this way, but it makes more sense to say straight up "No, we will not be there" than to make it vague. Also, using that same logic, I might also hint towards no if I was a greedy manager to sell concert tickets and still get paid at Bonnaroo
I'm very jealous of any person who was introduced to the band by seeing this performance. This album has certainly turned me from casual listener to huge fan, but if I had never heard of them, and watched this randomly out of the blue while channel surfing, I would have most likely fallen off my couch!

Some of our comments about this are on page 15. I'd say it's looking really good.
