Sometimes when there's a bunch of stuff in Now Playing that I've never heard, I sort my list of what I'm going to try first by how cool I think the album cover is. See Baroness for Exhibit A.

I have a confession. I loved the shit out of Falco's Rock Me Amadeus.
I would blare it constantly. But I kept the record hidden in my closet under some random crap because I didn't want my friends to think I was anything but a hardcore Metal Head . I did the same thing with Paul Hardcastle's 19 the same year. I was clandestinely listening to some very UN-Metal music in 1985 ;D.

I'm currently listening to Pavement's Slanted and Enchanted for the first time ever. Was gonna head to Now Playing but figured this was a better spot for that.
I still not have listened to the Call Me Maybe song. On purpose.
I had never heard of it when I came across this Dan Deacon Remix and it's actually really cool. It's called "Call Me Maybe Acapella 147 Times Exponentially Layered". If you won't listen to the original, at least give this a shot.
3. The first CD I ever got was Mariah Carey's Daydream, for Christmas. I also received Jock Rock the same year but Mariah was what I opened first. The first CD I ever bought with my own money was Will Smith's Big Willie Style.

I enjoyed the song Bruno cowrote with Cee Lo, "F You". He seems like a talented guy and I always like to see an artist more that writes and produces his own material. I really haven't knowingly listened to any of his music besides the Grammy performance, so I really don't have much of an opinion on him aside from respect of him being talented.
I hate Bruno Mars with a passion, and the Grammys proved he was a total summers breeze.
Please LD, do expound on your irrationally passionate hate for a guy who makes poppy soul music and doesn't really do anything overly douchey.
If anything it made me think he was a pretty cool dude. The fact that he said "get off your rich asses" is pretty funny to me, sort of poking fun at the whole hoity toity vibe of the awards ceremony and just trying to get people to loosen up a little bit.
