One of my neighbors told me he saw a vendor offering $1 Skrillex haircuts and people were actually getting it done. Wish I could have witnessed that. Didn't see his show though.

From what I saw, the production of it all looked amazing. I'm not a fan of Skrillex, but I really wish I was up there in the pit for that. However, no regrets because FUCKING D'ANGELO WHAT THE SHIT!

Not really converted it wasn't as bad as I expected. I got to see a good chunk of it waiting for GZA since he was a little late. His stage setup looked pretty awesome I'll give him that.

Nope...... but it wasn't as bad as I feared, and the crowd seemed to be having fun. If he'd pushed buttons longer, or I'd been willing to fight the GZA crowd again, I might have missed the Mighty Unchained impersonators story about their palatial tour bus braking down only to meet the harmonica playing bus driver who then joined them onstage for Mr. Icecream Man, or whatever that horrible song is called. Guess I'm lucky to be one of the 97 to hear the story. God is that song horrible.

Front row. Obviously. Me and abra. Raged like a 16yr old girl cause I was fucked up and didnt care. Made my booty clap. Was 3 ft away from speaker and it hurt so good. Got some awesome pictures. Got some awesome videos (posted below). Jizzed in my pants. Done.
I wish we were closer. I thought we were pretty damn close relatively speaking (in front of the tree line on the left side) but the sound just wasn't hitting us well from where we were. My girl had just met a friend named molly for the first time and was a little freaked out so she didn't want to go further...unfortunately.
But when that mist started coming down...words cannot describe how perfect that moment was.

I like Skrillex. The stage production was great. The crowd was nuts. That said, he is an average live DJ. The 15 min of Make that Booty Clap felt like filler to hold a 2-hour set. Major Lazer was the best DJ set I saw this weekend.

There is a time and place for Skrillex, and that is if you're a Taliban prisoner being detained by the U.S. at Gitmo and Skrillex is being used as an "aural interrogation prompt" at ear-splitting decibels by a bunch of rejects from the Bush/Cheney administration.
You tried a little to hard there. I'm disappointed. That's not like you.

Awesome, I wasn't too far from you, in the back of the pit. The sound was incredible, the energy was crazy. Had a blast but this was my fourth skrillex show. I have a fever and the only cure is more drops.
It'd be nice if he could get a stage setup on par with the mau5. He keeps trying but both the skrillexcell and the spaceship thing are just cool, but not incredible. It's the music and the energy that keeps me coming back.

Not a convertee, but the energy and crowd was probably the best of the entire weekend. Everyone in the very, very back was dancing their balls off, unless they were sleeping. Even walking away past other shows, people were still dancing their way back. Could hear it from a mile away. Great show and crowd. Well done, small man with funny hair.
The energy at the show was unparalleled all weekend. I'm not a huge fan of his by any means and Molly and myself had the time our our lives. When he dropped Knife Party I thought I had died and was being soaked the mists of Heaven.

This show was pretty much perfect for me. I got some LED gloves and 3D glasses before the show, my friends and I met up with our friend Molly, and it all came together glorious. I don't know why, but it blew my freaking mind that he had a spaceship onstage, along with cannons of smoke. When it started to rain lightly near the end, it couldn't get better. The place was just a massive party. I'm sorry for those who don't enjoy Skrillex. I will not miss him if he comes to my town, and I hope Roo gets another awesome electronic show for the Saturday Which LN next year (although they should give another non-DJ artist the Friday LN Which just to satisfy people who aren't into electronic music)!

Oh I know exactly what you guys mean. I met up with my old pal "Crif Dogs" and she brought a few of her friends too like "bacon", and a "hot dog", and then my buddy "melted cheese" came along and smothered the quack out of this guy I used to know, "fried egg", and everyone got really tense and didn't really know how to react to one another, because they just assumed he didn't really have anything to contribute (dead wrong). So they were nervous, but just kind of played it cool because they knew he was a good guy, but sometimes he could be a real bummer, and it all honestly depended on who else was around. But we partied...
And then I walked into the cinema tent, ate that sh!t, and Reggie Watts blew my balls off.
Being subtle is really fun.

I watched some of it, and I do not get all the hate he gets, I didn't love it but I have seen worse DJ's. On the other hand I have seen a lot of better ones and like a lot of bands (Bon Iver) he is inexplicably popular for his talent level.

It was really sad to see that Skrillex was the only artist to get a late night which slot. His transformer was alright but honestly alot of the shit they put up on the screen behind him wasnt that cool. His music really does nothing for me and I like alot of electronic and dubstep music. I really dont think he does much of anything live and just dances the whole time. I heard some people mention that the crowd was one of the biggest theyve seen on the which stage but to me it seemed rather thin and no where near as pacted as little wayne or flaming lips the past couple years
