Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Ok, I know nothing of what's going on here, I just had to point out how funny I think it is that every time someone says abra is hot, kev has to immediately remind them that's not what we're talking about!

I'm not one to get involved with any conflicts. As a matter of fact, I am the KING of "just walking away" before any real feelings are hurt. So normally, I wouldn't poke my head in and comment here. But since this conflict is affecting more people that I care about than not, I have to chime in my $.02
There are two things we are forgetting to acknowledge, which I feel is the causation of all this ruckus:
2. This is the internet, people. ANYTHING that ANYBODY says only has value or meaning if you attribute value to it. Just because it's typed doesn't make it true, and just because you are a little offended at something that doesn't mean you have to go out and attack a person and completely bring down spirits.
I'm ashamed for humanity that this thread of "airing out grievances" even exists, because seriously this is a message board for posting about music and about Bonnaroo. When did it become a vicious place where rando's will go out and attack your parenting skills, work ethics, or other personality traits that you would hold highly?
And lastly,
1. Green Tea ice cream is the shi!t! Love it. 2. I never really crave popcorn (texture bothers me) 3. I love my job for the icewater machine, and the product samples that are on our magic "free take me" table in our kitchen. So much good stuff!
I have never heard of popcorn machines at work. Maybe it's because I'm in the South? Seems like everyone that has one is up north except for Phi.
For real, I thought the popcorn machine pics were some internet meme that I messed out on. And it meant "keep up the internet fight to make the work day pass by" or something???
I usually work 1-10pm in the office. And I'm on call 24/7 after that and do a lot of work from home.
I work for ignorant needy attorneys like you in our NYC and San Francisco offices!
Shhhhh. If people ever realized exactly how much attorneys rely on various support staff (research, tech, paralegals, etc.) to get things done, we'd have to reduce our rates. And that's not okay.
Yea well I work in E-Discovery, Litigation Support, and Review Management so I'm the backbone of the lazy attorneys
I love that I posted that approximatey three hours ago, and I've lost exactly three karma points since then. And you can only take away/give karma once an hour. That's dedication.
i don't have the power over here, but i gave you 500 karma points on the infoomoog board. hope that makes you feel better sweetheart.

I would appreciate if people stopped accusing me of being otter on the sea. I am myself and not an otter on the sea. Please stop checking my webbed feet or whatever sketchy zoological type of crap you're doing. You should find something better to do with your time. Thanks.
I would appreciate if people stopped accusing me of being other members on this board. I am myself and no one else. Please stop checking my IP or whatever other sketchy computer-hacking type of crap you're doing. You should find something better to do with your time. Thanks.
Only a mod can check your IP. It's not computer-hacking, it's our job. And you were not even on our minds or radar, until now.
Last time I checked, CKS is a mod. Thanks for hearing out my complaint.
CKS checked your IP (if she actually did...which may not have happened) after a joke was made about you and Whoreshack being the same person after you made a thread about him.
It's really not that big of a deal. There was no computer hacking of any sort.
Just an FYI, its not true that only mods can check IPs. Every post that is made the IP is in the source code. It has to be for you mods to see it in the bottom right corner when a post is made. Anyone who knows what they're doing can check that source code and get the IP.

I did check it for kicks. I thought it was a funny suggestion in context. I didn't really think you were whoreshack, but checked because it takes roughly 10 seconds to do so.
No hacking involved, mods have access to every poster's IP... It is a very routine thing we do more often than you guys probably think. Having double accounts is an inforoo nono, so it is not beyond our scope of "work" to do this.

True Phi, but we have the capability to click a button and it searches all the users for matching IP's on users accounts. It is simply not a matter of knowing one persons IP addy. I get what you are saying though. They are pretty much public knowledge.
**Sorry I hit modify instead of quote. didn't want you to think I was editing your post. :-)

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. YOU CANT CENSOR ME! I KNOW YOUR IP!

So if you --Phi-- know the access path to every member's IP....
what are you actually doing with that information?
For instance, the volume of in-bound spam I'm receiving has literally gone through the roof in recent weeks. Despite having filters installed.
Not an accusation, mind you. Just a statement of fact, and the question.
