You know who I feel bad for? Coachella. If DP doesn't play now, their facebook is going to be filled with people complaining about them not being on the line-up after it totally got confirmed on the internet.

So you've felt bad for them every year since 2006?

Has it been reported through actual "news" websites every year or is it the same wishful thinking turned delusion that happens to Roo fans (myself included)?
Can someone tell me what in the world I have missed with this whole Daft Punk and Sang's mom thing? I saw the Daft Punk "leak", but that's about it.
Daft Punk and several others were added to Coachella's songkick page. It generated an email to people who had notifications set up for these bands. Someone on here, in attempts to prove this meant exactly d*ck, added a bunch of random crap to the Coachella songkick, such as Sang's mom, Placenta and Dorito's Locos Tacos.

But this confirmation is "more legitimate", see? These Aussies get it.
"It was bound to happen at one point, it does every year. At some point there is confirmation of Daft Punk’s headline slot at America’s favourite festival, Coachella. And this year is no different; however, this seems somewhat more legitimate than its predecessors."
Coachella first timer back again. For all of you who have taken the shuttle from a hotel/resort, how long does the process of waiting for a shuttle, getting to the festival site, and getting in the grounds usually take? Thanks again
I have never waited long for a shuttle. I think the longest was 10-15 minutes. About a 10 minute walk to the venue after you are dropped off.

I honestly don't know how people drink so much at music festivals.
Drinking makes me feel like I've been hit by a truck in normal circumstances. I can't imagine how shitty I'd feel when you add the various rigors of a music festival.

I save my Sundays at Roo for drinking. It's worked wonderfully for me the past couple of years.
Farm sunshine + various liquors + great music = an amazing time
A friend of mine has rocked a pair of these a couple of times we were out there.
Saw a pair of these in Friday Night Lights.
But drinking at the fest is all pacing yourself. You could get a good buzz going while drinking water during the day or you could black out and wake up at the Avett Bros like funky. This year was doable because of the weather, I didn't drink at all my first year in 2011 because I wouldn't even enjoy it.
Beer is amazing.
Edit: Just realized this was the coachella thread. oops

This has pretty much always been my plan for Roo. Glad I'm not alone on this one.
