Any of you guys ever make it out to after roo, I've heard about it for years but never get the chance to make it out. sounds a little sketch but sometimes that could be fun. www.facebook.com/events/272745816126358/

We had a very nice wook show up at our campsite a few years ago at 500am. Just sat down, started smoking, started drinking our wine with us. He invited us to this. His name was Dirty, so we figured it was best to just bypass this.
A lot of Rainbow Family on the invite list. I bet it could be fun.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Love the Family. Might pop in for this. What I found interesting was one post on the Facebook page (as follows):
Hippie Hill
Due to unfortunate circumstances we wont will not be able to have The Devil Makes Three at this years Afteroo 2012. We were going to have them as a special guest but since they're playing Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival this year they cant play within 50 miles of there within a 4 month span. Good news is we will have them here next year! March 12 at 5:35pm
Has anyone else heard of this policy regarding playing Bonnaroo?

I've never heard of this..It would be cool if it was the week before though. I would probably come down a couple days earlier for it but after 'roo i'm ready for a got damn shower and some lovin' from the lady.

its kind of like when a show is on broadway, it becomes licenced to the theater that is showing it, and no other theater or company, including high schools can do that musical within 50 miles while it is running on broadway.. they have to have exclusive rights to that particular band or people might decide to just skip bonnaroo and see them at a small venue for 1/20th the price. lord knows ac cant have that happen.
If I was a kid again, this would be a go, but alas, have to get back to work.
I am really wanting to try Wakarusa, but that's the weekend before roo, and I can't justify missing more work....still paying off student debt....argh.
This does sound like fun....especially if there are showers onsite....
