Been absent from the board lots lately but I just realized what this thread should be. An appreciation of the works of Maynard so I changed it Thanks for getting Puscifer Bonnaroo I have been about to piss myself because in about two months within a 30 day span I am about to get some of the best music I listen to shoved in my ears over a 30 day span! I think the Puscifer show is going to be EPIC! Radiohead, Maynard, Roger Waters and a Beatle all in 30 days time. I really wanted to go see Puscifer in Nashville in Febuary buit could not because of finances and going to Atlanta for Radiohead. This show is the cherry on my ice cream sunday!

So Carina Round who is performing with Puscifer just put on Facebook that they will be at Bonnaroo Saturday June 9th at 1pm. This seems odd to me but who knows. Thought i'd share.
Why I will miss all other shows for Puscifer! My first real experience with Tool was in 1993 at Lollapalooza back when it was touring. I pretty much went for Alice In Chains (yes the old school original lineup Lono has been doing festies since back in the day) I also wanted to hear Primus kinda this mind you was a LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY! Alos on the bill were Dinosaur Jr. , Fishbone, Babes In Toyland, and Arrested Development. I was watching Arrested Development and all of the sudden I heard some nasty bass coming from the second stage full of unknown bands and the oddity known as The Jim Rose Circus. This was so back in the day nobody knew who two of the bands on that stage were Rage Against The Machine and Tool. I was naturally attracted to that stage that had very few people milling about it , a human gyroscope ride, and an old man who probably fled Woodstock and had been on the road since then wrapped in a blanket and with a simple wooden bowl that stated "ganja victim" on a piece of cardboard it was sitting on. needless to say i was fucking thrilled and probably in a once in a lifetime epiphany decided unknown bands are cool and got to witness an unholy back to back show. After that well they got some name recognition that summer. At the time everyone was watching the main stage. So several years later I went to Memphis during the late 90's and saw Tool again during the Aenima Tour forward a few years later in 2001 and saw A Perfect Circle during the Mer De Noms Tour in Nashville. Later that year I saw Tool during the Lateralus Tour in Nashville. 2004 I saw A Perfect Circle in Nashville again on the Thirteenth Step Tour. 2007 of course I was at Bonnaroo and watchin' some more Tool. Well here it is 2012 and as prohesised in the Puscifer Album "V IS FOR VAGINA" Puscifer will be at Bonnaroo I can now safely say with the sole exception of the Green Jelly deal that I have seen all of Maynards works! I will be front and center for this show even if it means missing a prime spot for Radiohead. And several people on this board can testify to the fact I love Radiohead. And that is "THE GOSPEL OF LONO"

Respect. I was 4 when the 1993 Lollapalooza happened. I discovered Tool on the day they released 10,000 days. I was working at a record store and put it in the CD player on a whim. A year later, I went to my first Bonnaroo and the first day I ate corn was also my first time seeing Tool. Literally blew my mind as to what a show could be. Tool became the soundtrack for my college years, bar none. Now 5 Bonnaroos later, I saw Tool in North Carolina in January and APC at Rock on the Range last year. Puscifer completes the spectrum and I've got too much love for Maynard to not be as front and center as possible for this show.
My secret wish is that there would be an artist signing, but that's about as likely as Danzig doing an artist signing...so.... Either way, can't wait. Hope to see you at this show, Lono.
After seeing puscifer in june I will have seen all 3 of maynard's bands in a 10 month period ^_^
Look at Mr. high and mighty over here. It will be an embarrassing 13 months for me.
But seriously, as much talk as there is about Maynard being a dick, he toured with all three of his bands almost continuously for the last year and a half. Fuck yeah, Maynard!

I know how unlikely it is, but what would make for a really nice surprise guest at the Puscifer show would be Milla Jovovich. I don't think she has performed with Puscifer other than the Las Vegas shows, back when they had their first couple of shows. It would be a special treat though, cause I really love this song, the Mission, and Milla is awesome! I had problems with some skippage in this video, but even still it's the best quality one of her performing the song. I know this probably won't happen though, still it would be nice. Either way I'll be right there with you guys at Puscifer, I don't want to miss a minute of it!
dout that mila will be there. Corina Round is singing with him and she does a great job. Check out the track Toma. The first time I saw a show from this tour I thought this would be perfect for bonnaroo. has to be at night with all the visuals. its going to be awesome, Maynard melting faces like in 07.
