If you haven't seen, Moogfest has decided to turn the clues into a contest. Go to their facebook and put your guesses in for the three acts in one post. First person to get it right wins a merch package. They also posted in the comments that they are only taking your first answer, so think before you post. They just posted a little bit ago that nobody had got it yet.

Harold Budd is a money pick for the first one after that video they posted. Death Grips is good for the second but not a lock. The third is where someone is going to win this thing.

Someone who commented on the contest post made a good point about Sweet Valley. They'll be there anyway to back GZA, so an add makes sense. But it might be a stretch to call them "alt hip hop."
Eh, I'd say they're sorta buzzy. It's probably Death Grips, which I would much prefer, but when I saw that comment I went from 100% sure to somewhere around 85% sure.
Also to the dude who put Skrillex as a dub techno.. I hope Scientist and a bunch of jamaican dj's bum rush you and hit you with chairs..
oof, after reading some of these comments.. I fear for history. People have NO IDEA how important dub was to dj's, techno, and electro music drops. My side hurts, and it is not my liver yet... yet.

yeah that was me going off another online list of "alt hip hop acts" and then narrowing it down to ones from cali. haha
i just wanted to guess more random shiz then the same thing the others were saying.
Well it makes sense at least.. PUTS played an awesome show at Roo but the rain kept the crowd to a minimum (and they have done other AC/E events). They released their last album on their own label, both of them use there tools on stage (MPC, turntables)..
Blu&Exile - new record release - more "buzzy" especially with Blu's N O Y O R K last year.
Death Grips - people are clamoring, I ain't hatin.
Though.. I'm going to go with some crazy choices but I also, now, HAVE to hustle up some money to see Scientist and the Roots Radics Band at BB. King.. oh lawd!!!

That was me. There was a joke in there, I promise.

I saw that, GL. I knew you were joking or you best have been anyway. And, Bandeto, I had to look up what dub techno even was. When it comes to anything outside of well-known electronic, I have no idea what I am talking about.

Apparently, Moogfest was able to bundle a weekend pass with a Justice floor ticket. You can now buy them together on one order rather than two separate ones. Don't know if it ends up being cheaper though.
