Flux Pavilion and Horse Feathers would be awesome additions...
Flux pavilion would be sweet, but I don't really expect many more Electronic groups. I'm content with what's there so far. More metal has to come. Blues and reggae are also departments roo is totally lacking in, so I expect some of these to be added

After getting Danzig and Puscifer, even though they're on the outskirts of "metal", I'd be shocked if they added more metal.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Would love a Theophilus London add. Saw him with Friendly Fires last fall, dude has a mix of simultaneous high and smooth energy. Great performer, his band was fun too.
He played Bonnaroo last year as a cafe act. My group and I were trying to beat the heat and caught some shade by the Miller stage (former TML) and Chancellor was killing it and promoting the EP 'Japanese Lunchbox'. I would definitely love to see him make the cafe to tent jump this year.

Yeah, he was one of the three "Road to Bonnaroo" winners last year. I'm trying to think if a RtB winner has ever made a second appearance. Would definitely be a big win for that contest.

It's time to shamelessly promote our band. I apologize but we made it to the top 8 of the road to roo last year and I have to think if we can accomplish that again someone would have to take notice. Let me know if you dig it: www.facebook.com/pages/The-Dirty-Grindstones/192261214122405?ref=ts

I was there last year and didn't even realize that he was there. Crazy...

I don't want to think this! I still need a Baroness addition.
My friend told me he got the call that his band got added sometime recently, so I know they are planning some more additions. Wish I could say who, but I promised not to. But we are definitely getting some more additions soon.

Chris41, you sure seem to have some connections in the music industry: First Cage the Elephant and now this unnamed band. What exactly do you do? (if you don't mind me asking)
Not sure if they are cafe or tent. They've played Letterman before so I could see them going either way. I hope they get a Thursday spot.
To answer your question, I am a music journalist. I'm also a college student, so I'm not incredibly hooked up or anything. I have a lot of friends in semi-popular bands (Matt Costa, Guster, Rachel Goodrich, Tea Leaf Green, ALO, etc.). We stay caught up, but I only hang out with these people when they're in town or we're at a festie together.
Cage the Elephant are really involved here in Bowling Green, so it doesn't take much to know them well. Same with Sleeper Agent, Morning Teleportation, Canago, and all the other popular bands from Bowling Green.
It says Walk the Moon to play Bonnaroo. They were a cafe act last year, so it is possible that they have lines crossed somewhere.
Well lookie there.
This is very good news because I'm from Cincinnati, they're from Cincinnati. They're really making the city proud, as is our basketball teams like UC, Xavier, and I guess Ohio U and UK.
I can't say they're not playing, but they haven't mentioned it to me.
The band that got added I purposely left out of my post. I'm not trying to be crappy about it, I wish I could tell, but they're worried it might get them in trouble and they are just happy to be on the bill.

And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
