And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
Who did I list earlier? When I speak of bad corporate alt... I am speaking of Fun., Two Door Cinema Club, etc.
What's your knock on TDCC? Quality music IMHO, saw them at Lolla last year and was impressed. What makes them corporate? Their desire to make a buck off their music?

Sorry man...I mixed you up with Pascal. This was his quote "And we get all this corporate "indie" nonsense like fun., Temper Trap, Foster The People, Young The Giant...The kinda bands that get their one good song on a commercial and then fade away after a year.

Hey All-
Just returned from seeing Band of Skulls in Philly. Didn't get a chance to talk with them, however, my colleague and I (we are music teachers and vocal coaches) were able to talk to the folks from We Are Augustine, specifically Billy. We talked for 30 minutes or so about vocal technique and exchanged e-mails. As we were leaving, I asked if they would be at Roo - they said they are currently on hold. They have a brutal tour right now, 37 performances with only 1 day off.

Not much, but it's something.
Thanks for this, mat. I've been holding a candle for WEAUG since very early this speculation-season! Really dig that band.
It's been a while back now, but it seemed they got (semi- ) ruled out early in a different thread, just based on their tour schedule.
Here's hoping they'll just man-up, and decide to play 38 shows with zero days off!

What Would Claypool Do
"WEAUG"??? Really??? WEAUG????, perhaps drunkin' ramble, but, that sort of thing needs to stop.

I don't know how Temper Trap fits into that group. You can make a case that FTP and Young the Giant fit into that catgory but I personally don't b/c their music is tolerable.

I was not trying to take stabs last night with the WEAUG thing. It seems like you're a good sport unclekev, and that I can respect. I guess i'm just not in-tune with the purpose behind abbreviating band names... aside from the obvious.
Does anyone feel as if we are going to get anymore semi-known bands added?

Depends on what your idea of semi known is. I suspect I will know a few of the remaining adds at least by name if not by their music when they are dropped

Anyone want Pretty Lights back on the Farm. Haven't done any research in to it, but my younger brother, who is a new avid EDM junkie. Decided to bet me $20 that pretty lights would be an addition stating 'he's there all the time/has a gap in his schedule those dates/loves being on the farm' Now i immediately accepted this bet because to me it is a win win situation. Just wondering what someone who has done research/sepculation on additions thinks of these statements and the possibility of me winning 20 bucks!

Not impossible, but I don't see why AC would be waiting to add him. If he was going to play he would have been in the first wave IMO

I do like Pretty Lights, but theres no way he gets added. Not only would it be his third year in a row, but he'd almost certainly be top-10 judging by his billing at other fests this summer.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Like i said i don't care if he gets added or not, its a win win for me. He gets added i have an awesome time at an insane show. He doesn't get added, i win 20 dollars. Just thought i'd ask on here to see if anyone had inside information
