Is there any chance of the Kaiser Cheifs getting a late addition? There playing Coachella and theres about a months gap in their schedule with bonnaroo in the middle of it.

Nope, their booking manager said that it isn't happening by mail.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
Just watched some new guy by name of Wallflower "perform" on the Carson Daly Show. Carson hyped him very hard, but Wallflower made me suddenly want to flee to Costa Rica. On foot. With only Mac Miller on my iPod for the entire walk.
I'm praying to sweet merciful Jesus that Wallflower won't be among our Artist Additions.
Carson has clearly now entered the Heart of Darkness. Like Colonel Kurtz.
Love him or hate him, he always (until recently) reps good indie band performances on his show. Tune in any given night, and he's got Wye Oak, M83, Thievery Corp., Joy Formidable, Delta Spirit, or some such. Tonight, he repped Wallflower.

Why would you do this? Yes, it would kill everything. No, it's not ever going to happen. They're not playing anywhere until late July, Jonsi said. I mean sure, they could probably be forced to do it with enough cash thrown at them, but what is the financial incentive for Bonnaroo? They'll probably end up selling out anyway...

The financial incentive would be living up to the bonnaroo name. the greatest bands in the world at the greatest festival in the world. lets face it Mac Miller is pretty weak.
That's why we'll get quality mid-range acts. 5/6 of the additions were great. A big add isn't realistic, while people still hold out hope for Jack White/NY&CH, but there's basis to those rumors.
Sigur Ros is a big name who won't be in the area and hasn't been reported as in negotiations with Bonnaroo. I'd love Sigur Ros to be added, but it's outside the realm of reasonable possibilities. Feel free to get your hopes up, but be prepared to have them crushed.

im not getting my hopes up. i was just wishing out loud i guess. plus i just listed to the new sigur ros song and its amazing. but i kind do feel like there is so merit to putting you're money where you're mouth is.
