Pitchfork Presents: Forms Feb 1-4

Love 'em or hate em, P4k is a name that will be around for a long long time. They announced Forms, a new 4 day multi-media festival, in partnership with Bowery Presents.

No bands have been announced yet but Bowery Presents says to expect between 50 & 75 bands spread out over BP venues (The Music Hall of Williamsburg, the Bowery Ballroom, the Mercury Lounge and Terminal 5).

No tickets yet but soon, I suppose.

Right before my birthday... I hope the lineup is sick!

I'm skeptical. Mercury Lounge and Bowery Ballroom are pretty close to each other, but neither of them are close to Music Hall. And it's a pain in the ass to get to Terminal 5 from basically anywhere. I don't see how they're going to create much a festival environment.

I think your right. It might just be a string of shows laid out with a Pitchfork Festival tag at the end.

They announced yesterday this was being postponed.. I might be upset if I actually knew what the fuck this was.

Figured as much. I was talking to a Bowery employee this month and all he said was "it's not happening". Makes sense that this was postponed.
