Silver and Happening are a tie for me. Lovely, complete albums, that I believe he crafted together for a more accepted, popular sound.
S/T found an empty niche, which was huge for NYC at the time. 45:33 was the bridge, or crystal ball, into the future. If you've noticed, 45:33 had quite a lot of influence on Silver and Happening.
The 2nd act of "The Long Goodbye" is the best, btw. Hope you all have a chance to hear it on vinyl, turned up loud. One of the best live shows of the last 20 yrs, imo.
Once you listen to "The Long Goodbye", you might have a hard time going back to the other albums for a little while

Finally gave this another chance, I was disappointed in it the first time through which surprised me because I really loved her last one. I think I just wasn't in the mood for this type of music as I didn't even make it through the album the first time. Liked it a whole lot more second time though, I see now why so many people on here loved it.
