My little sister and brother-in-law refer to themselves as vegan, but they "occasionally eat chicken, fish, and goat cheese," and today, he posted on Facebook about how much he likes hunting and fishing. I don't think they actually understand what it means to be vegan.
I made the best cornbread the other day. I put corn, jalapeños, red peppers, and cheddar cheese in it.
That's how we make it! best cornbread ever!
ok, so my wife did a weird variation on this that turned out awesome. She fried up some applewood smoked bacon and broke it um into pieces and mixed that in with it instead of corn. holy shit. Eating leftovers right now with red beans and rice.
I had no allergies when I was a kid. Moved out of my house to go to college and developed an allergy to cats, which we had several of (my mom works for an animal clinic so we have several cats and dogs). Now I've developed general pollen allergies too, I hate it. Been bad the past few days.
I do love screwing with my dog though. I can just say "kitty" and he looks at me all excited. He likes cats, but he would totes eat one if he thought he could get away with it. Anytime we're home, he'll follow one cat around licking it and sniffing it's but. When it finally starts to rub all over his legs, he puts is mouth around it's neck and looks at me like "This is ok, right? I can have this?" Wish I could get one so they could keep each other entertained when I'm at school. I'd have to Meet the Parents the cat though and teach it how to use the toilet because Ody would just eat it out of the litter box.
We give our two kitties baths every 3 months or so. Knocks down the dander tremendously. Started doing it when they were still kittens and we've had them both for 6 years now and they enjoy everything about it except the "holy shit when am I going to be dry?" time.

Would I sound like too much of an alchy if I said I was drinking tonight for the purpose of preparing my liver/body for my trip to New Orleans this weekend?
No justification needed as far as I'm concerned. We're adults. There's a time and a place for everything. There's always time, and I'm always some place.
If you ever needed to know who Neil's favorite Spice Girl is, just watch the video. If you check the channel, they have other videos with some known bands including some Roo vets and bands on this year's line-up like Flogging Molly, The Vaccines, Chappo, The Felice Brothers, Matt & Kim and others.

I was reading on lunch and got reminded of a question I have had for a while. Why are books more expensive in Canada? The Canadian and US dollars are pretty close to the same value, so it has to be something else aside from that. Bonertheshining (or other Canadians) I am looking at you guys for an answer.

Books need to be printed on a special, more expensive type of paper to survive the atmosphere in Canada, of which turns regular paper into snow. We have enough snow. . This special paper is also made of materials that do not allow maple syrup to stick to it. This is very important, for if we used regular paper, it would make reading in the bath tub very, very difficult. Hope this helps.

I thought the snow in Canada was made out of maple syrup. This changes everything!
Case = 24 or 12. Depending on where you are in Canada it's different. I call it a Two Four or a flat. Back home, 35-40 Where I live now, 40-50., tho the cheap stuff goes go 40$ for 30. If I wanted a 12 pack of a good imported beer, I'm lookin at 26$+

Maple Syrup (Ms on the periodic table of elements in Canada) is the base element of virtually everything in the physical realm, in Canada. I guess it would be the equilibsnt of Carbon? But I'm no scientist.

It's a good thing I float mad paper.
I loved talking to my Canadian neighbors at Roo about the different costs and names of amounts.
