I had a friend once who claimed that a stereotype for white people should be that they love hummus. He claimed that all white people LOVE hummus. I've yet to find any evidence to the contrary.

Good luck! I tried both the app and browser for Adele and was still in the waiting room on browser while I was buying tickets on the app this morning - have had much better luck on the app this year for some reason.
I got shut out. Used the AXS app and browser. Oh well, can't win em all!
For some reason the LA dates used AXS instead of TM.
Ah bummer. Sorry. I'd say good luck on the secondary market but if you guys have the same credit card check system we had here, I'd be nervous about those.

Yeah it looks like it's locked down pretty tight for these shows as well. No tickets, have to show credit card, everyone arrives at the same time, etc etc... Enjoy it double for me!

Adele's tour was negotiated market by market, rather than nationwide. Pretty cool actually, no one does that anymore.
I wasn't even able to try for Adele tickets because of work. If anyone needs someone to go to one of the Philly shows in their stead, let me know. I am willing to wear a wig if necessary.

Is there a way to block a thread so that it doesn't appear when searching Recent Posts?
For me, I'd like to filter out the Mafia stuff since I don't play and the posts tend to be really long but I figure it would help to avoid spoilers in some of the TV and movies threads as well.

Search by recent thread, not post?
Yeah, that's a workaround but not the solution I was hoping for. It's not as efficient as Recent Posts.

I have asked the folks at Proboards. Unfortunately there is not a way at this time.

There's a storm a-brewing in my house. My wife insists on putting the silverware in the dishwasher handle-up. I believe in handle-down. We have not addressed this issue yet - it's mainly been passive-aggressive rearranging on the sly this far - but at some point shit's gonna go down.

I normally put one handle down for every one handle up, with knives always handle up. This keeps spoons and forks with space between to allow water to wash over the surfaces that touch the food and our mouths.

handle down, with utensils seperate. i HATE when my roommate just puts spoons with forks or knives and doesn't even care. she's gonna get evicted if she's not careful

With the exception of steak knives, which I put down for safety, I like everything to get the most surface action. Also, the water drains away from the area that you eat with.

Sometimes the spoons can get bunched together with no room between to get clean.

LOL.
It takes longer to put them away that way but at least you avoid utensils spooning each other and preventing maximum cleanliness.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

That's what children are for. I had my roommate sorting the clean utensils by the time she was two.
Sometimes when I put away dishes I have intense visions of me being home alone and slipping into the dishes and slicing my wrists open and bleeding out because SOMEBODY decided that to put their silverware in with the handle down. So it's handles up for me.

This. ^^^^ Kyle has been doing the dishes since he was old enough to get them clean properly (8ish). I have only had a dishwasher since 2010, and we didn't have a utensil holder thingy in it until I found one at a garage sale a few weeks back. We still wash somethings by hand and have a dish rack by the sink.

We have had a broken dishwasher for two years now, so we do all dishes by hand. And when I say we, I mean that Josh does them 96% of the time and I do them like once a month. I used to put them in the drying rack handle up because I figured then you aren't grabbing it by the eating surface. He insists on handles down because then you know what you are grabbing. I put them in handles down now because I like our 96/4 split and I don't want to do anything that might disturb it.
