The Sunday night clashes are pretty nasty, happy enough overall though.
Friday I'd go to Viet Cong and then stay at the. Mountain stage for Calexico -> Atomic Bomb! -> Hot Chip Saturday, I would do whatever necessary to be on the rail for Super Furry Animals (I'm so jealous you're gonna see them) Sunday night conflicts are terrible
The Sunday night clashes are pretty nasty, happy enough overall though.
Friday:
Natalie Prass > Viet Cong > ? > Sun Ra Arkestra > Atomic Bomb! > Hot Chip > The 2 Bears > Hot Chip DJ set
Saturday:
Sturgill Simpson > Charles Bradley > White Fence > Television > Slowdive > Midland > Jamie xx
Sunday:
Steve Gunn > Matthew E. White > The Antlers > Sylvan Esso and then, I dunno, just go halvsies on FJM/Courtney Barnett and St. Vincent/Goat. All four of those bands are awesome in concert.
And to be fair, I haven't heard of at least half of all these bands. But that would be my game plan.
HOLY SHIT! Pusicifer just announced a show at the Saenger New Orleans Theatre on November 7th!! I am in fucking heaven.
Damn. They are my least favorite Maynard band, but they were great at Bonnaroo 12 anyway. I might just have to go.
I agree they are my least favorite, but I still like them. Besides, I would see Maynard at any opportunity life gives me. I am getting good tickets, have signed up for the newsletter to get the presale code for the show.

justinmn9319 on their FB banner, it says "Money Shot Tour Round 1". So don't worry, another leg of the tour should happen at some point.
Wondering what that means for Tool this upcoming year.

Hmm, mailing list? Don't see anything on their site about it. Only reference I could find was a FB post from '09 saying to email them to get added to the list. Am I missing it somewhere? Want to get in on the presale too.
We got a press release about the local show, but when I went on Ticketmaster it looks like they are touring.

I am sorry I didn't clarify, I got on the Saenger's mailing list. According to ticketmaster's app on my phone, there will be a venue presale on Wednesday, August 19 and a VIP package offer the same day. I want to make sure that I get the presale code because this show will sell out in NOLA I think, and pretty fast as well.
It says venue presale for the nola date, so I'm sure I'll get an email from Arts center enterprises that morning just like with other shows at Saenger & Mahalia Jackson that have presales. Sign up for whatever mailing list from the venue that they're playing near you. Obviously go to the ticketmaster link first to see if there even is a venue presale for your city: www.ticketmaster.com/search?tm_link=tm_homeA_header_search&user_input=PUSCIFER+&q=PUSCIFER+

Gotcha. On the SA venue's website, there's no mention of a presale. And it looks like the VIP packages go on sale the 21st for SA too.
Good luck getting good seats, hoping to score a sweet seat myself!
I've done the Puscifer VIP package before, and it was really cool. Got to see the soundcheck before the show. Doesn't look like that's part of it this time, but other cool percs.

Is that a different mailing list than the one from the Saenger & Mahalia Jackson?

SA date isn't on ticketmaster yet. may not be a presale for that one.

That is a dense schedule, so I'm hoping it means they plan on being done the new album by November.

Thought for sure the psych fest show would be the only one.
I'm with you. I guess they had a lot of fun this last time. Now I'm wondering if they will end up doing a select cities "tour" or if this going to be an Austin only kinda thing.
