Thats my guess, I think we might get Dre and Snoop though...
as much as i would love Dre and Snoop, thats kind of a bummer.
Well I never thought we were getting them anyway, they have not played Coachella in a while, and since we have heard Phish is a lock I kind of doubted we would see two repeat headliners in a year. I could see Dre and Snoop getting Sunday however.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
Does Coachella scoring Radiohead mean that Radiohead wont play Roo?

I might have said this exact same thing last year and I might have gotten an answer but if I'm not mistaken Bonnaroo and Coachella never share their top tier headliners.
Am I right.
I guess I could go find out myself, but could someone else do the work for me?

2011 - arcade fire headlined coachella and bonnaroo 2010 - jay-z headlined coachella and got whatever slot you want to call it at bonnaroo (headliner or late night, depending on how you look at it) 2008 - jack johnson headlined coachella and got a prime slot at bonnaroo
so yeah, if bonnaroo shares a headliner with coachella this year, i would rule out the black keys, and probably go with radiohead. we just had eminem this past year, we don't need another rap headliner two years in a row.

I really like The Black Keys. I don't love El Camino, but their other albums are great. However, after seeing them on the What this past year, I don't want to see them there again. I just don't feel like they work as well on a bigger stage as they do on a smaller one. I would be a little disappointed if they were the headliner at Roo.
And I know no one thinks they're going to be, but I think they're a weak Friday headliner for Coachella.
Before the lineup comes out? Oh well I do sincerely hope a large portion of the Bonnaroo crowd does Coachella this year. The Farm has been getting to crowded for my tastes anyhow.

I mean, I suppose Bonnaroo could come through with Radiohead/Phish/something awesome, but I don't see it.
Dr. Dre? That's a get, no matter how you look at it. Radiohead is awesome, and the Black Keys are solid. More than that, the undercard is absolutely stacked.
A lot of Bonnaroo 2012 bands but a lot of hidden gems like The Dear Hunter, Real Estate, and Feed Me.

There is a pretty good under card I would love to get Mazzy Star for Bonnaroo. Still like usual I think there are just glaring holes when it comes to Americana, Bluegrass, and Rock. I would go and have a blast but at least for me it is not a drop whatever you are doing and buy a ticket.
Also I still think Dre and Snoop will be the shared headliner this time around.
It's going to take a lot to hold a candle to that Coachella lineup. The combination of solid headliners, unexpected reunions (Refused, ATDI) and the best undercard I've personally seen make it tough to beat in my opinion. I wish that Bonnaroo would post their lineup earlier so that I could choose which to go to. =/
Has anyone brought up how they can afford the same lineup two weekends in a row? Seems like a major logistical headache...
The money won't be an issue, if you're talking fiscal headache. It's actually smart and probably allowed them to spend more: double the revenue while putting little more into setup and marketing and administration and whatnot.
I'm probably alone on this, but I'd rather have Dre. That's probably the biggest get of the festival season. How many people have seen a Dr. Dre concert in the last decade?
