What does one do Friday late night if they, prefer music made with actual instruments rather than computers turntables and drum machines..... It seems to be the least eclectic (or most electric) 5 hours in Bonnaroo history. It sucks for people that like that music cause it's all on at once and it sucks for people who don't like it cause there's nothing else to see.
We now know that the billing doesn't always mean that a band plays a better spot than the other. Look at Primus & Ray Lamontagne:
Ray is billed 13th and is opening for Primus who are billed 17th. The only thing that pops into my mind is that Primus has a later set and is billed lower 'cause they're conflicting with MMJ. (what is in fact a worse spot than when Ray is playing)
I love the schedule but have to echo the people that said the Which stage really needs screens, Buffalo Springfield and Mumford and Sons are going to have huge crowds. I actually think it would have been smarter to overlap Black Keys and Buffalo Springfield a bit. Dont get me wrong im stoked that im going to get to see full sets for both but theres no doubt that its going to be a giant pain in the ass getting a halfway decent spot for Buffalo Springfield, I just hope they crank the sound up on Which Stage since its usally really quiet further back there.

Is it confirmed that they won't have screens at Which this year? I remember an earlier thread regarding that but can't find it. I think it was some Bonaroo wishlist or something. I'm just thinking that if they were to do that then this would be the year.

I remember seeing that discussion, too. I don't think there was ever a conclusion, though. I really hope they add some or else BS could end up being a real pain in the ass.

Which Stage is my least favorite. The sound & sightlines are poor from the back and unfortunately that's where you often get stuck at big name sets. Often, I end up having to pass on the act & go with plan B.

The best sound from any stage I had at bonnaroo was which state in front of the mixer about 20 yards from the stage for the flaming lips. What stage is great but you can't be too far on the left or right side.

I haven't read through a few pages here, but did anyone else notice or care that friday and saturday have no late night comedy act? Generally there's on around midnight, given the late night strength i'm not sure that i'd hit one up this year, but i have in the past.
They're still going to have to slot the Rolling Stone contest bands as well. Which I am sure will be in one of the Cafes. The Sheepdogs are actually pretty good.

What happened to the days of moe. vs. NIN?
I'm bummed too dude. But I would suggest checking out "The Black Angels" They are like a psychadelic, garagy rock band. Pretty decent stuff! Then I'll probly just rest up for the big day on Saturday!
I'm sure majority of you won't care but... why does bassnectar and lil Wayne have to overlap... severely disappointed...
I wish on you infinite Mondays.
But in all seriousness it's probably the same reason why Bootsy and Dr. John conflict, they have to spread people out so a single stage isn't so crowded.

So, any tips for someone who wants to see The Decmeberists, MMJ, and Arcade Fire?
Personally, I'll try to get a decent spot for The Decemberists and just sort of relax while slowly inching forward to get a good spot for MMJ. Probably try to get in the pit for MMJ. Then for AF probably try for a decent but not great spot so I can get to Big Boi as quickly as possible afterwards. However if you've never seen Arcade Fire in a festival setting I'd suggest getting as close as you can. The first time I saw them was Lollapalooza and it was incredible being so packed in.

I know they're all on the What, I'll be honest in saying all I really want is the pit for Arcade Fire, but I would like to see The Decemberists and MMJ from a decent viewing point. I'm just really confused about the whole line up thing for the What stage. I saw Arcade Fire at Lolla too! Fantastic show, my friend and I camped at that stage from the time gates opened.
I'm thinking I'll just wait in line during MMJ for Arcade Fire.
