The AcousticRoundtable.com Music Community is looking for a Rooving Reporter. Someone that will be attending the Bonnaroo festival and would like to report from the festival using just their smart phone.
If you're interested, we have a few bands that we would like to have you check out. You'll be giving access to upload your video and photos as well as stream your take on the festival live to our YouTube Channel.
If you're going to the festival and you'd like to help us out by becoming a Rooporter for us, send your email addy to: AcousticRoundtable@gmail.com
We'll also have you come on our radio show the WITRR Network on Monday, June 13, 2011 to talk about your experience at the Roo...
Either: 1) They posted once and expect only responses to their email address 2) They've seen the initial responses and decided that this was a bad idea 3) Both of the above
Regardless, they should get Leno like this off the ground months earlier so people could scoff some tickets for it. I'm sure there are a lot of people volunteering that would rather have a job like this than hauling Leno around the fest. If they're too cheap to do that fuck'em.
Based on their URL they're for-profit. They're looking for free help to help them be more profitable. Just sayin....
My thoughts exactly. One time poster in a forum they contribute nothing to, asking people to do work for free (actaully not even free since you'd have to use the ticket you paid for and your personal cell phone). Fuck that.
I can't imagine doing any real, hard-nosed reporting at Roo. All they'd get from me would be mumbled gibberish & mad cackling.
This. I can hardly work my own limbs after a full day of Roo, let alone a camera of some kind, all while giving a quasi-intelligent narration to what I'm taping (which in all likelihood would be a tree or something that random and stupid).

"Did you get any footage from that chick who was supposed to report from Bonnaroo?" "Uh...we got a twelve minute video of someone eating a popsicle, seventeen pictures of the same pair of feet, and a seven-second audio recording of what sounds to be the inside of a pocket."
