I just don't see the logic that somebody who is a headliner that is in a prime spot is "opening for [Enter Late Night act here]". It would seem to imply that "best band plays last" but we all know that's not true.

I see Lil Wayne as more likely for Saturday, if our assumption that Big Boi is Friday holds true. I don't see them having conflicting hip hop late nights. But Big Boi's Friday date doesn't seem like a complete confirmation, so at this point, anything is possible.

i think lil wayne will be Saturday on which stage, going against Girl Talk on that (thievery cooperation last year spot), The Black Angels on the other, and ether the start of the jam or someone opening before the jam on this

with that logic Stevie at #3 opened for Jay Z at #4 ^in reference to Eminem opening for Wayne
I think its silly to try to think of a festival schedule in the same terms as you would a one night billing. it works in a lot of cases, but in the situation where a lot of big named bands are all playing within a few hours of each other its basically just that. people play when they fit, regardless of who is before or after them. Good example was last year at Camp Bisco Caribou played right before Holy F!ck but at their show in Boston Holy F#ck was the opener for Caribou (both are sorely missed form this late night schedule)

Most definitley will be a Public Enemy situation.
Edit: Or one could argue he'll do the Jay-Z thing.
I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.
I have no inside information or anything, but here's my prediction for the late night sets based on gathered knowledge of the bands and previous years of Bonnaroo scheduling...
Friday
Which Stage (After Arcade Fire Performs on What) String Cheese Incident (12 - 3:30)
This Tent Big Boi (12:30 - 2) Ratatat (2:30 - 4:00)
That Tent Black Angels (12 - 1:30) Shpongle (2 -3:30)
The Other Tent STS9 (12 -1:30) Pretty Lights (2 - 3:30)
Saturday
What Stage (After Eminem) Lil Wayne (11:30 - 1:30)
The Other Tent Bootsy Collins & the Funk University (12:30 - 2) Dr. John with the Original Meters and Allen Toussaint performing Desitively Bonnaroo (2:30 - 4)
How does this compare to what you were thinking? Does anyone have any other guesses or changes that are more probable?
this looks just about perfect for me, can we send to bonnaroo as a suggestion?

Looks awesome to me too. Only thing I see some people not happy with is SCI vs STS9.

Theres no way that STS9 will be restricted to an hour and a half. Other than that it's pretty solid.
To put Ratatat, Pretty Lights, and Sphongle late night and then line them all up in conflict with one another would seem ridiculous to me. I hope they don't do that.

gonna say the same thing. last time they had a late night (07) they had the 12-3 slot (unfortunately, also opposite SCI. hope they dont do that again.)
I'm sure it's been said before, but MMJ not getting a late night is a quacking shame.
Yes, yes it is.
Overall the late night shows this year are a bit of a let down (and it's not just because MMJ didn't get one). I'm countin' maybe five that I really want to see/check out. Might finally make it to the Comedy Theater or back to the Silent Disco this year at this rate.

I'd rather have 3 or 4 late night acts i'm dying to see than 8 late night acts i'm dying to see. That's how it is this year for me. A few select acts I really want to see so less conflicts.

like everyone else i say STS9 will be last to play and will play for as long as they want. like the disco biscuits last year. I see them playing after bassnectar on saturday against Girltalk. something like
12-2:15 bassnecater---> 3-5:15 STS9 12:30-2 (maybe gogol, black angles, bootsy or dr john)----> 2:30-4:30 Girltalk

I'd like to see this bassnectar --> STST9 lineup. Might actually get me over to checking bassnectar out. Here's hoping STS9 and Dr. John don't conflict.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
I am still holding out hope that Shpongle will be on Thursday. I know it is a long drive from Tennessee for Florida so I still think he could play Thursday night.
If that were the case I could see something like this Thursday: That Tent: Shpongle 12-2
The Other Tent Dr. John with the Original Meters and Allen Toussaint performing Desitively Bonnaroo 12:30 - 2 Bootsy Collins & the Funk University 2:30 - 4
As epic as STS9 getting their own tent would be (and as much as i would love to see it happen), I would hate to have to miss Ratatat or a piece of STS9. They are my top 2 must see all of their sets. I am holding out and hoping to see all of ratatat, STS9, bassnectar and pretty lights. This plus MMJ and Primus not conflicting would make my bonnaroo. Here is for hoping.
